Giant Warning

This note "Giant Warning" seems to be bugging out. I was doing The Halls of the Dead public dungeon (PC/EU) and most of the lorebooks/writings that were placed on tables/surfaces had a copy of this "Giant Warning" on top of them. I couldn't access/read "Hlaki's Journal" since I kept getting the prompt to read the Giant Warning instead. I eventually got it when Hlaki spawned and the attacks somehow allowed me to read the journal

    Yeah I noticed this too. Except it was happing in Crimson Cave as well . Maybe something in the public dungeons broke? But in any case, great job ZOS, in one patch you both broke both loadscreens and books. Somehow.

    At this point, I think consoles might need their own PTS, just to get rid of game breaking bugs.

    Also, @LMar are you on console too?

    At this point, I think consoles might need their own PTS, just to get rid of game breaking bugs.
    With the lead time of 2 weeks to get Sony and Microsoft approval for each deployment, it'd be unworkable. They can test console code on internal servers, but they can't test 'real world' until it drops on the live services as the interaction with PSN/XBOX is unknown.

    I'm on PC/NA, and I just had the bug start for me, in Deshaan. I can tell you the point where it did start. The altar right next to the Quarantine area of Serk had a letter and a scroll. Once I had read those two notes, no other piece of paper I've gotten that's not quest-specific has been anything other than Giant Warning.

    Besides, I don't think that the real purpose of PTS is to find bugs. ZOS should have already quashed bugs, or be in the process of fixing them, by the time it gets to PTS. ZOS is too small, and PTS is too short, to be useful for fixing more than a few bugs that they don't already know about.

    I think that the real purpose of PTS is just to evaluate content that is coming in the next update.

    Even if they could drop a new build each week, would a console PTS have shown this problem with loading screens? Perhaps. We don't know when the problem became a problem. It might have been on the last build before going Live, and would not have shown up on the console PTS. Who knows?
