Stam Dk in PvP Skills? Equip?

Hey english is not me first language so sorry

My Main is a Magplar in PvE on EP.
But most in my Guild are AD Players and if they decide to make some PvP...well....

So I decided to make a Stam DK for the PvP but I have no idea.

When I search for Builds i got so many different and some are a few Months old so i dont know if they are up to date.

What i want:
Playing 2-Hand/Sword-Shield.
I am new to PvP so my first target is to survive and helping my Group.
Dmg....well when i survive why not

So anybody got a link or can tell me which Skills are indispensable and which Equip/Traits i should look for?

If you want to play a Stam DK in PvP, the best advice I can give you is to delete that toon and make a Stam warden instead. But if that’s not an option...

Igneous shield, searing strike, and flames of oblivion are all “must have” skills IMO

I just leveled one up during WF - So far my best results (no undaunted 9 yet) came from using:

Dubious Camoran Throne drink
3 Bone Pirate Jewelry for the robust
2 medium Bone Pirate body, preferably small like belt/hands
4/5 Ravager heavy - 4 on 2h and 5 on SnB (weapons for this are possibly rare, but also kind of cheap)
2 monster pieces - Using Bloodspawn set for good synergy with DK

On console, so I still have wrath passive to add damage. Skills are related to what you want to do, be more utility (talons, debuffs), straight up damage, or surviving. Proccing Ravager from the SnB bar is the obvious fulcrum of this build.

Lol, if somebody comes here and rips this build for being potato, then maybe I can learn from them then! My only other DK is a tank, so I won't feel so bad about criticism.

Not a potato build. My only concern would be that you have to proc ravager on your sword / shield bar, which is hard to do as a DK. IMO you would be better off with the cliche seventh legion set so that you can still get the buff if you have to turtle up and take damage (also the heal is broken and kinda OP).

As is, running ravager bloodspawn and bone pirate is a pretty common build on stamplars. Usually DKs don’t need Stam regen as badly as stamplars do and can go with a more dmg oriented medium set, but since the mundus stone changes you could just pick up the warrior mundus and call it a wash.

Yes, I'm using warrior mundus and sometimes mixing velidreth/kena/stam monster combos for even more damage, and 7th legion was next on my list, I already had plenty of ravager from pvp and the 7th Legion health recovery bonus on a stage 4 vamp is bad. Still going to try 7th eventually, I like the coil up & strike idea.

Bloodspawn+ww hide (jewels+1HS back bar)+fury/7th legion is a pretty standard setup.

wardens aren't better, just different. Wardens are all burst with no dot pressure. If you can't burst a target with shalks+dive+dbos+exec combo then youre in trouble. Your burst comes at predictable 3 second intervals that good players will block, shield, or kite. DKs rely on dot pressure to keep the opponent on the defense then sudden burst.

Resource sustain isn't better, just different. Wardens rely on constant small trickles of resources. DKs rely on burst resource return through battle roar.

Common consensus on the forums favors wardens because a few streamers said they were good and everyone likes playing with new toys. Different players like different play styles though, so play what you like.

Ok Thx for all.

I will not make a lot of PvP with this Char. In the End it will be 3-4 Hours a Week.
Its realy just because i want to Play with my Guild.

Why I choose DK?
Because I got a PvE Warden on EP too and not interested in to level another.
Since I finished Cadwells Gold and most of the DLCs, i`m more interessted in different Classes.
And maybe i gonna tank a little bit with the DK....but thats another Story.....

So you gave me some intressting informations, now i will take a look.
