Hello.
As we already know Morrowind launch been accompanied by changing music in main menu. I played for some time and it's been ok but after like a month I had to disable in-game music because main theme began to annoy me. Don't get me wrong, Morrowind main theme is OK, ESO main theme is also OK, but howling from remastered Nerevar Rising is making me sick when I hear it.
I already bought Morrowind and I don't need a reminder.
I'd like to ask is there plans to return original music to main menu so I could enjoy ESO music again?

    Don't know, but honestly I don't even remember what it sounded like. I'm only on that screen for the time it takes me to enter my password and log in. Didn't know people were sitting on the login screen rocking out.

    I’m not on the main screen long enough to even notice the music anymore..

    AFAIK, title screen music is being played 'til you reach character select screen. It's plays about 30 seconds - minute long.

    Wasn’t the original just some cheap imitation of Skyrim’s? I can’t remember. That’s what it always sounded like to me. Like they wanted to make people feel like they’re playing multiplayer Skyrim.

    Original was much further from skyrim than the morrowind one.

    I guess we will be getting new main theme with chapter 2

    Remember that we don't play Elder Scrolls Online anymore, now it is called Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind. This is what main menu suggest after all.

    For you maybe, but between my PC, ISP, and a good route to the servers I am not on the load screen that long.

    I actually prefer the newer one, especially if I let it roll long enough to reprise the old Morrowind theme (at the 3 minute mark or so) — it makes me nostalgic for my years spent playing the original Morrowind.

    That said, it would be great if there were a toggle in our settings so we could choose the opening music we prefer.

    Actually the game is still "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" according to steam...

    The login music plays until you are in the game, so if you spend time afk at the login or character screen, you hear a lot of it.

    Luckily I have the whole set of music from original ESO as a Spotify playlist so I can listen to it anytime I want :D

    The newer one sounds more like a Classic TES game......and I prefer that.

    Nah...when the original menu music "takes off" crescendo-ish it gets pretty obvious that the game was in development during the Pirates of The Caribbean hype peak. It reminds me far too much of those movie's sound score. :D

    The Morrowind Score is suggestive and full of ambiance imho. And very TES.

    They'll change the Main Title screen and Theme music once the next Chapter releases next year. I don't think we'll be going back to the original Theme since it seems they'll be making new Theme songs for each new Chapter.

    I have to confess I haven't even noticed the change. But I used to enjoy the track a lot. Why did I not notice? Simply because I've muted all music in the game. Can't remember if it was in One Tamriel or any other patch but there was a time when ZOS decided they'd change the way soundtracks are picked. Patch notes mentioned it was an improvement. I personally thought it was incredibly lame that I could be sitting in sunny Deshaan and suddenly one of the gloomy themes from the Gold Coast would start playing.

    Why? We used to be able to tell more or less where we were located simply by paying attention to the soundtrack. Suddenly, that was changed. And I don't mean it like I just ported out of that area so the soundtrack will follow me for a bit. No. It would actually start playing while in the 'wrong' area.

    It bothered me. Not a whole lot but still enough that it was noticeable. I muted the music. Now I listen to my own mixes.
