Vet crypt of hearts 2 difficult??

As per clockwork city pc patch notes, they put crypt of hearts 2 along with coa2 and 6 dlc dungeons, but why? Which boss in coh2 vet hard mode is hard? Once our group only has 3 people cos one dps left, and the other dps is doing like 15k dps only or 10k dps, and we beat it easily, there’s nothing mechanics heavy about it, and not a dps test dungeon, u can slowly chip every boss down and it’s easily accomplished. I don’t understand ZOS’s logic.

Here’s some example of other dungeons requiring decent dps than coh2.
Banished cells 2 last boss is harder than coh2, if you don’t have enough dps the daedra will toast your group along with boss stun if u don’t block and watch out. Then there’s dark shade 2, the jelly adds that just takes forever to kill, and I mean forever, if your group has low dps.
Also, direfrost keep last boss heals back to full in 2 sec mechanics would appreciate high dps more than coh2.

What’s your opinion on this??

Patch:
Adjusted the minimum level for the following Veteran Difficulty dungeons to CP160 for the purposes of using the Dungeon Finder:
Veteran Bloodroot Forge
Veteran City of Ash 2
Veteran Cradle of Shadows
Veteran Crypt of Hearts 2
Veteran Falkreath Hold
Veteran Imperial City Prison
Veteran Ruins of Mazzatun
Veteran White-Gold Tower

You must be new to the game to ask this question.

COH 2 and COA 2 were released long, long, long ago as "harder" versions of the dungeon. They were the precursor to what we now have as dungeon DLC. They were definitely the hardest dungeons to complete back in the day. However, since they added Vet versions to version I dungeons, this really doesn't apply anymore. I don't know why they didn't take the time to look at the dungeon difficulty lists that are posted all over the place.

I can understand the Vet level dungeons being raised to cp160. That's when everyone is grinding gear for Trials. For the normal dungeons, it makes no sense. I was able to successfully tank the normal dungeons with ease on my lvl 30 tank and my buddy on his lvl 30 healer. Bad DPS just meant the fights lasted longer.

ZOS took the easy wat out. They just drew the line and said that every dungeon that wasnt in the group of original dungeons will be the ones with the min level restriction. Do i care one way or the another... not really, but thats what they did.

Ok that would make sense, if they simply didn’t take time to review or re-play the version 2 of their dungeons.
But honestly try 3 man it, it’s so easy...

Well, its got a lot of complicated-to-execute-well mechanics.
The spider queen webs you up and your teammates have to free you, plus the storm of lightning that follows one player.
The second to last boss where you all get pulled in and have to get out of the center so that no circles are overlapping.

I don't know if that's sufficient to get it on the CP 160 list along with the others as plenty of other vet dungeons have mechanics. However, whereas COA II is pretty clearly on the list because of the DPS races on all its bosses except for the Fire Maw, I suspect COH II is on there because of mechanics that require group coordination rather than DPS, which can sometimes be harder to get than raw DPS. A coordinated group with low DPS can complete vet COH II slowly, but an uncoordinated group that doesn't know the mechanics is going to struggle unless they have spectacular DPS.

My guess is because Nerien'eth has that attack where he grabs one player and you have to break his shield to save him and valkyn skoria has the whole platforms thingie, those could be considered dps checks and maybe that's why ZOS chose to put the cp160 min req.

Personally I find stuff like vet direfrost keep way more annoying to deal with when grouped with pugs because it only takes 1 player not cc breaking to prolong that fight for ever.
