Is *mask* V. 2 different?

Hi I just got the Thicketman Mask yesterday, and today I've received Thicketman Mask V.2. Are they the same or different?
(I tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything)

V2 still dyes like crap. Just like the scarecrow mask.

The pumpkin specter v2 mask dyes great. Why couldn't they have at least made the hood of the scarecrow and thicketman masks dye well? Ugh. This rustles my jimmies.

They are different. The V2 is the second version. Just consume everything that is consumable, can't go wrong.

Only the two new runebox has V2 on it. There is no V1thickman for example

They aren't named differently in the Collections menu though

They are different. The V2 is the second version.

I mean yeah, lol. Highly doubt ZOS would put in a duplicate item and just slapped on V.2 on the name to make it different.

Pretty sure it looks different OP.

Yes the different versions of the masks look different, and yes they have different names under collections.

Scarecrow Spectre Mask: Skeleton style face, cloth hood, glowing eyes
Thicketman Spectre Mask: Skeleton style face, cloth hood, glowing eyes and mouth, stick horns

I think the eyes and mouth glow in V2 and not in last years ones

Sticks(antlers) on the Thicketman.

Slight change in the glowing eyes and mouth on both.

The V2's are approx 1% different from the ones from last year.

Check your collection and hats then. The mask named Scarecrow is the old, the one named Thicketman is the new. For this year's event you have the chance to loot both.
