Didn't take totem, I think, it looks too close to existing one, Hagraven Totem from achievement, that cost 5000 (but new is animated! That green thing on ground), and I want to save money for house.

Just saying in case anyone didn't realise, you can place the totem upside down under the ground if you just want a green poison/fog effect without the totem visible.

Another lazy work by ZOS, just like the last week.
The same items can be bought cheaper from Achievement Vendor.

well.. at least there is SOME difference. lux vendors version of necromantic focus is actualy a torch, while the totem has green fog around the base, unlike achievement one. similar. but not identical. (and the focus from achievement, vs torch version from lux vendor are the same cost, so if you wanted skulled lights - it saves on item slots, vs havin to use torch and totem separately)

But it still shows that ZOS became very lazy about luxury vendor items.

At the beginning vendor had pretty and unique items, like wedding stuff. But since last few weeks vendor started selling items which can be bought for achievements (orcish totems, Reach vines, now witch's stuff) but with slightly different look (like this green fog) and usually higher price.

technically but not really.

way way back during redguard weeks which were i beleive right after wedding stuff, we had items that were pretty similar to crafted versions. not identical, but similar. the canopy bed. the lanterns. plus the well that is inlayed version of Hew's bane achievement well

then there was craglorn week with the braziers that were pretty similar to achievement ones with the only difference that lux brazier was intact, while achievement brazier is damaged (original craglorn week was NOT in september - september was actualy a repeat they promised to compensate for mess up with scheduling).

and then during vvardenfel weeks, we had plants that were VERY similar to achievement ones. just different size.

one of daedric weeks - the chests were identical to fighter's guild ones, only very slightly cheaper

Zos has been doing this all along. its just since they didn't even bother to make items different last week - suddenly everyone is noticing. not that I approve of achievement items being put on lux vendor, but if we are going to accuse ZOS of being lazy? they are not "getting" lazy, they have been lazy all along.

P.S. torch is the same price as achievement totem that has same skull arrangement but no torch. so its different AND not more expensive.

I used to look forward to the luxury furniture vendor on weekends with my wife, now we pretty much just accept that every week is gonna be a disappointment. Oh well, good things can't last forever
