DK with FEAR skill?

I got a question to all the master DK's out there or anyone who have knowledge about this, I fought a DK in duel who have a fear skill slotted to his arsenal. My question is what make a DK without this skill "FEAR" was able to use it? what is it? what is this armor set?

    Poison?

    other option that comes to mi mind has to do with you, is your char a Vamp/WW?

    - Nightblade: Shadow: Aspect of Terror skill & morphs
    - Werewolf: Werewolf transformation ultimate & morphs
    - Undaunted: Tangling Webs synergy (cannot be used in duels since it has to be activated by another player)

    Well I never took that morph so I completely forgot about it.

    He is a stam DK though, I want to use it on my own but I'm a magika DK just one cast half of my stamina gone..

    It's expensive but in a duel against a WW/Vamp can be a surprise move... even moar if you are a Magdk

    I miss the old Turn Undead from 1.4-1.5. It was so useful against the many Bat Swarms.

    Besides that skill, they could be using the vampire skill Drain Essence.

      Sure it's not invigorating drain? Sometimes when you fear someone you get the same cc reaction as invigorating

      Yeah any vamp can just cancel cast invigorating for a 3 sec stun.

      It's vampire drain....

      Its vampiric drain and there's a bug/exploit you can do so you can't break free from it.

      Edit: and also cast skills whilst still channeling it, just like the resto/Soul Assault exploit/bug.
