Player Made Outfits (Disguises)?

With the Transmogrification system likely arriving early next year (with the Q1 DLC), I was wondering what would everyone think to a system where you could also convert a selection of different armor or clothing pieces into outfits that can be equipped like disguises? (Allowing you to carry a variety of outfits from everyday clothing, to different styles of armor)

Most of the disguises in game are already made out of existing armor/clothing pieces, so I don't see any disadvantage to a system such as this (especially when considering the fact that disguises are hidden in Cyrodiil- even though you can still use costumes and there is nothing most disguises could do to give you an advantage).

A while ago I had an idea along these lines https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/312210/wardrobe-crafting-feature-motif-and-style-options#latest

I’d imagine now with where things are, being able to craft a disguise would be very popular with the upcoming transmog type of feature in 2018

I have some lvl 20 pieces of that old necromancer set that was removed a while back. From what I've seen, that's the only set that looks like that. One comes close, but not quite. I would love to slap that on, save it as a costume, and have it forever at any lvl.

This would be much more ideal than transmogrification, of which I’m sure will flop unless they allow transmog between weight styles.

Disguises have another problem - they cover over crown store cosmetics and skins. I'd dearly love to wear the various Imperial soldier disguises with my Legion Zero Mindshriven skin, but alas, I cannot.

Yea, I've also found the issue of cosmetic compatibility to be a shame, especially when it comes to the soul shriven skin not working with disguises or accessories such as blind eyes not working with beards (which is why I decided against buying the accessory pack that they are included in).
