20 stacks of Wrath was a bad idea. It only helped those builds that could endure until they gained power to hit back. 10 stacks would boost heavy armor users but not to the extreme.

Anyways... now you've gonne and removed this passive. Does that mean that HAs only purpose is Trial tanking?

Think well before you remove HA from PvP. You must come up with a passive that makes heavy armor usefull.

*Decrease incoming dmg by %
*Minor mending
*break free cost reduction
*heal 2k every 4s (lol..)
Give a reason to players to say "HA will protect me from being bursted down. I'll have my chances to hit back"

People are getting tired of having to play with a toon that is not their prefered option.

A reminder. Move Momentum and it's morphs to Fighters Guild. This will open up weapon choices. Improve FG abilities effectiveness (power, radius) or decrease cost.

Change HA active buff to cost 3k stamina.

Give every class one stamina costing, damage scaling CC morph. This will open up weapon choices.

The latest example of bad reworking attempts in order to improve a feature, the 5% cost decrease(4550 down from 4800) of Immovable that is, is what people don't want to see.

We want meaningful changes that deliver on ESO promises. Play as you want.

PS. When will you understand that nobody cares for heavy attack gameplay? Don't throw HA into Oblivion

Heavy armour still offers the highest degree of tankiness through passives that increase resistances and health as well as having the highest base stats.

Heavy armour also offers the best in combat sustain through constitution and the heavy attack passive.

The issue with Wrath came from stacking it with things like fury or 7th legion and getting something like 500-800 weapon damage for just sitting there and holding block for 10 seconds.

It will still be powerful post Wrath removal, the only difference is that you'll lose 1-2k damage on your burst combo while in heavy armour, as well as a little bit of healing.

Lol, with all the heavy armor sets that give ridiculous amounts of weapon damage, trust me, Heavy Armor will still be very present in PvP. 200 less weapon damage isn't going to kill it.

I can only assume Zos announced this past week they were changing that passive since Wrath is still there on the PTS.

Regardless, HA saw plenty of use before that passive was changed to Wrath and is likely to continue to be used if they change it to something else. It will still be tanky.

So no, Zos is not removing HA from PvP by any means. Take it from players that have seen how people have played in this game since before it went live.

I agree that Heavy will still be present in cyrodill, however Heavy and Light were arguably around the same level.

Mag nb, sorc, dk and even some magplars could run light to greater effect for the first too similar effect as heavy for the latter 2. (no experience with warden)

The real issue was that this could not be said for medium and heavy. IMO this will shift the power balance slightly in favour of light armor/magicka builds. Heavy Armor on its own was not overpowered, and the 10->20 wrath stacks was actually a good decision. However now, this is no longer the case.

The best approach would have been to buff medium in some way. There are a select few heavy builds that are over performing, but this change simply makes those setups even more powerful as sets like Fury/Legion are the only heavy sets that will provide what Heavy now severely lacks.

Loss of wrath is same as if my shackle breaker 5 stat bonus was suddenly removed and replaced with nothing. Really hurt hybrid builds that didn't have more than 1400 spell and weapon damage.

    Immovable Brute: Duration: [13.5 / 14 / 14.5 / 15] seconds.
Intensify your physical presence to gain Major Resolve and Major Ward, increasing your Physical and Spell Resistance by 5280 for [13.5 / 14 / 14.5 / 15] seconds. Also grants you immunity to knockback and disabling effects for 5 seconds. While slotted, each piece of Heavy Armor worn decreases the cost of Break Free by 4%.
