the HA nerf was neccesary for pvp

In pve a tank is meant to take damage while dps built characters are more squishy and cant. the tanks job is to taunt the boss so the squishys can kill the boss. now for pvp the same applys where a tank shouldn't deal damage but should take damage and a pvp character built around damage shouldn't be able to take a good amount of damage as well and I can see medium armor being more relevant now for classes other than nb so ty zos. pretty much what was needed to bring med and light more in line with heavy (tho rip tavas tank who wont get shuffle)

    Medium and light are already super popular in open world PvP. Light shield stacking builds and medium dodge roll builds with insane Vigor crit are much more harder to kill than heavy builds. Heavy is already dying out, it's useless in no-CP BG, the only thing heavy is good at is dueling.

    Those impossible to kill builds that do damage will just tweak a few numbers in CE to compensate.

    The nerf will hit harder magicka build in heavy armor. There are a few heavy sets which bring tons of weapon damage. Do you think that these 200 (300 buffed) damage will be so important? People who use these sets will still have incredible burst. Then in 6 month ZoS will nerf the sets, it is sad that now we sacrifice this damage (magicka builds).

    How much battlegrounds do you play?
    Most of the good stam players there run heavy, just because it is so much more useful than medium.

    Most medium builds there are either flag runners, or people who think bow builds are good.

    You can do any pve non group dungeon content without any armor equipped, let alone heavy armor. Git gud.

    no big deal...it used to only take me about 15 minutes or so to solo a world boss, now it'll just take a half hour or so of hacking away :#

    Quick word here, had no trouble with farming vet dorkshade 1 for gear with just 2 mag Sorcs. Even without shields it wasn't much of a challenge.

    Plus tanks don't need to do damage in pve. The only area the change hurts them in is slightly less self healing.

    A lot.
    Most of the good stam players on PC Eu run medium. Because it's no-CP, medium is simply much better for sustain.

    Most heavy builds are permablock MagDKs and Magplars. And trollplars.

    200 SP/WP is going to affect Tanks in PVP ? you have got to be kidding me. Most people don't even get all those stacks. The only thing thats really going to happen is tanks are going to have Even more resources. i question how well magicka tanks are going to be. Resto Staff + CP + heavy armor ? .... and as far as shuffle goes. YAAAAY super happy about that

    Exactly this. I, as a tank, rely on spell damage for self healing (burning embers). I don't mind so much that they're going to take away Wrath... but they'd better compensate by making them more "tanky" with heals or some sort of survivability. Or perhaps, even, something that helps with crowd control.

    IMO, I think it's okay for tanks to be unkillable in PVP... but they just shouldn't have the damage that they're putting out right now. Tanks are supposed to be hard to kill. They're supposed to be "trolly" enough for noobs to chase after them while their teammates accomplish goals. That's the whole point of a tank.... to aggro. Since there's no PVP aggro- a tank's roll should be to crowd control, troll knuckleheads, and rez their comrades.
    Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    You don't have to play a tank to solo world bosses you know .

    I apologize in advance for bringing my still unleveled tank into the dungeons with her unmorphed half baked skills because after this change, she will no longer be able to decently level them solo, cause sure she will stay alive, but everything she fights on her own in PVE areas will take forever to die as well.

    its fine to switch armor and weapons for someone who is already maxed on skills so they don't actualy need to level them. but for in progress character? this change SUCKS. (oh and it will also make tanks less capable of assisting with damage in dungeon groups where dps may not be awesome - fun pug times!)
