    Is this a stamina warden?
The fact you were even living through that as long as you did is insane. :o

So I watched the vid, and read the thread thus far... am I supposed to be impressed?
Ok, OP survived a good amount of time time solo, I'll give you that.

Now to pick apart OP pros.
    - DKs are king of sustain.
    - Templars have best self-heals. Sorcs too if they've slotted surge and hurricane or something else.
    - Minor/Major protection, sure, not like templars and nbs don't have that.
    - Every class has some sort of aoe dmg ability and every class can tank. What's the point in being capable of doing aoe dps with a tank's dps?
    - If you want a heal tank, templars are probably the better choice.
    - 3k isn't really all that significant just to switch cp from pve to pvp.
    - Couldn't really tell what gear. Saw in an earlier post ironblood+desert rose+troll king. There're better sets to use for pve. This seems more like a pvp set up.
    - Fun to play? Debatable.
    - Unbeatable? Well, tanks are generally difficult to kill in pvp due in part being tanks.
    - Snare resistant? I'm guessing you mean the warden's winter embrace passive.

Yeah warden Tank is really fun and will get a little bit buffed with CWC (Wings more dodge + 3 portals). I Love to play him too.

But I think it would be hard for Vet trials with him, as DK is much better in surviving (magmashell for example). I saw that when our Maintank in vHoF was at the 2nd boss: First we did that with his DK, no Problem. Next Week with bis Warden...and he died very often. Maybe it was a Bad week or it was the difference of warden to DK, I don't know.

But it's fun with warden Tank. Can't wait to go vDSA with my 3 portals Haha!

Tellmeagain how Templars will have best selfheals with 10kmagika ?
Or how the DK will be able to Selfsustain on 20 mobs + boss if builded for permablock ?
Wardens have the best resource return passive in the game and the best ultigen, also the healing Over time is scalled with mymax health and does not require for me to drop on low health in order to heal affectively.
ALso yeaha DK proper heal requires Igneousshield also yeah which is like what 4k shield cost + 4K HEAL COST SO u will spend 8k magika of your Magica pool just to heal yourself ONCE.
You poopdropers obviously DONT KNOW how to tank , and what is the best tank for non trial Vet content.

@RouDeR , I'm not here to argue with you. Just want you to ask a simple question. And yes, I do have a DK and a Warden tank. At least for me Warden tank is fun toon, to fool around, tank vet content, etc. But when required to tank serious stuff I always use DK. Oh, the question, ofc. How can you seriously tank without chains and talons? Mindlessly running around taunting big blobs ....

So there's a Malubeth proc in the vid, so I assume it's a self-healing build.. well, it's indeed can be fun to play. You can build something like this with NB tank and enjoy self-healing too, but it's definitely not OP, not in PVE at least.

From my experience, you can tank vet trials, at least Craglorn ones, with Warden tank without any problems. Done vSO as main and vHRC.

And yes, sometimes you don't need to use Talons. It's nice to have them of course. As for Chains, wardens have a portal :) It is slightly slower than chains but not terrible at all. Plus with the next update it will be possible to drop a portal 3 times. Even as a DK tank, it's nice to think of resource preservation and do the positioning of the mobs in such a way that it would minimize chaining. You can do it on a Warden as well. :)

Warden have Graund AoE Root like DK , and if needed i can put range tount , depends on the content .
The sets like Alkosh and Abon are for the OFFTanks in trials, The point of the main tank is to stay alive nomatter what , 30% of the group wipes in trials is cuz of a squishy tanks. So better safe than Sorry .
And i dont have Soul Gems cuz those guys cost me all my 40 that i had in the beginning of the dungeon .

Well I know the Portal and the Winter's Revenge skills.... but god they are clunky to use. At least Portal is.

@onemoredragon totally agree, you don't need Talons. But is such an asset for the group if tank can keep mobs nicely stacked so DDs just burn them.

@RouDeR to some extent I do agree with you about main tanks. Maybe it's me, but for me essence of tanking is not just aggro, permablock and selfheals. Even as a main tank I try to provide at least some support to my group. For example in vMoL, first boss shield phase I will always even as a main tank try to help healers with Vigor so the group will be OK. What can you do with Warden? Drop Forest? Isn't Warhorn ulti better?
I'm not trying to criticize you, just debating here. Not rezzing those poor souls ultimately caused your team's wipe. 40 soul gems doing pug/inexperienced group is nothing. If you on PC EU I will gladly offload some soul gems to you ....

You poopdropers obviously DONT KNOW how to tank , and what is the best tank for non trial Vet content.

First and foremost, I've nothing against warden tanks. A pity if that's what you thought. Secondly, calling your build "op as hell" yet dying at the end... yeah...

    Now then:
    - 10k magicka? No tri-stat food? No tri-stat enchants? Well, even then, templars have ritual, a fairly wide aoe hot. Its quite nice, one morph increases healing and does dmg, the other increases the duration, and during that time mag regen will do its work. There's also honor the dead, other morph of BoL, refunds the costs over time. If the tank's hp is yoyo-ing, self-heals isn't the problem.
    - DK's self-sustain with 20 adds and the boss? Kite them around the boss and build ulti? Sounds familiar, right? Seriously, they've got passives for ulti gen, stam restore, and resource restoring in general. Maybe pop SnB ulti or magma shell and use the time to get back resources, chug a pot, and heal, if they still need to. Or maybe use that time to, idk, rez the dead?
    - Warden's resource returns; I'm guessing the netch and the regen that comes from Flourish, and Nature's Gift while healing with a Green Balance ability. For ulti gen, I'm guessing shimmering shield, and the return from Enchanted Forest.
    - The HoT being scaled with your max health... ok you lost me there...
    - A DKs self-heals, sure they're not cheap, but its not like GDB is being spammed. Again, if the tank's hp is yoyo-ing the self-heals isn't the problem. Besides, the ability has other buffs aside from the heal like minor vitality plus the Burning Heart passive, once every once in a while is plenty.
    - Personally, I don't main a tank, that doesn't mean I don't know how to tank though. Seriously, I've a DK tank I play with, and from my perspective, non trial vet content has a fair amount of leeway.

Now again, I've nothing against warden tanks, they've got plenty going for them.

Sorry to tell you, you went into wrong direction. Templars and Sorcs need their points in magicka and health, much less in stamina. If you are trying to copy DK pattern onto Templar and Sorc and find similar skills, you are on a wrong approach. So no mate, you don't know how to tank mitigate damage through variety of skills etc. Probably you know only DK tanking and trying to copy it to other classes, and then like poooof that class is very bad for tanking!

When you say self-healing tank build the number 1 will be magsorc. These aoe heals, wardens ults etc are total crap compared to sorcs critical surge and shield stacking. And I think troll king will do a better job for a real self healing tank than Malubeth
