Anyway to take armor off mounts

So as most people know after level 20(or so i believe) mounts get a armored head piece... Is there anyway to remove this...

Yeah, under the gameplay settings, you can manually toggle all three mount visual attachments independently.

EDIT: You can also toggle your helmet on and off in the same menu.

I think you can in options. Its something about show mount upgrades or something like that. Not at home so you will have to check for yourself. sorry

Yep. You can toggle the mount upgrades on or off through settings. This is rather important for mounts like the Plague Horse, whose special effects are suppressed by mount upgrades.

Speed - harness or leaner look
Stamina - Armor
Carry Capacity - saddlebags

Incidentally, on the spider:

Speed is the stabilizing struts on the legs.
Stamina is the extra struts on the "wings."
Carry Capacity are a pair of small backpacks mounted on the core chassis.

Thanks, I'll check this out tonight. I don;t care about the armour but I am sick of staring at unsightly saddle bags when riding.

Yeah, with the exception of the mindshriven one, the horse's saddlebags are an eyesore.

Roll an Orc Warden and never use a mount again...

Orc Racial - Swift Warrior:
• Reduces Sprint cost by 12% and increases Sprint speed by 10%

Falcon's Swiftness:
• Increase speed by 30% for 10 seconds.

Bull Netch:
• Restored Stamina over 20 seconds

Enchanted Growth:
• Increase Stamina & Magica recovery by 10% for 20 seconds.

Some mounts have permanent decoration. Like the Elk or the armored saber tooth. Eso fashion website should have the details on which one have permanent armor/saddle bags
