Guildbank more advanced permissions needed - we don't like to live with mistrust between guildies.

Dear ZOS
We guildmasters and officers have a few problems with guildbank permissions.
The current system:
  • Guildbank space is 500 items
  • Full permission or none to all withdrawals
  • Full permission or none to all deposits
  • There can be up to 500 members in a guild
  • Most social guilds dwindle between 50-250 members
  • It is common for guildmembers to invite their friends to a social guild - the guildmaster doesn't always know the knew players
  • Guildbank thieves are not always guildbank thieves. Sometimes a low level who doesn't know how the game functions takes too much of something, and forgets or doesn't know how to deposit the rest back.

The result of the system:
  • New guildmember see no limit and takes everything out of the bank
  • Guildmaster and officers demote and kick the new player
  • The new players friends within the guild will have mistrust either toward the guild or the player
  • The guild leadership (Guildmaster and officers) will mistrust new members by default, because it feels bad to be robbed and we don't want to experience that again
  • New guildies will feel less welcomed as result of the mistrust from the leadership

Please take a look at the screenshot below, tell me it is alright that we don't have better and more advanced tools to handle permissions:

The situation is so bad, that many guildmasters and officers have created blacklists over players on private websites and social media, often providing 0 proof of whether those players really are bank thieves or some guildmaster just really hate that person due to personal reasons. We still put those names on a blacklist because of: "just in case".
This is so sad for us guildmasters, and unfair toward the innocent victims - but we do not have better tools within the game to handle these situations and improve our communities.

Please give us tools to improve our community.
Give us options to give limited withdrawals and deposits in our guildbanks, so we can build up a good community without mistrust and fear.

    I like the new additions. I was so sick and tired of bid spying it was pissing me off. My 2 guilds used to be in Rawl'kha for about a year until it was infiltrated numerous times by scrub guilds (who have since also lost that trader because they couldnt maintain profits). We had only Officers inviting people because of this, and it really shut out a lot of people, excluding them from finding a great guild. People would get kicked, and even change their account name to get back in. I am 100% for a blacklist in theory, but I doubt it could be implimented fairly outside of the game.

    Yes. This guild bank thing is really tiring if you want to help each other via the bank. Just have a withdrawal limit per rank or something like that. Almost nobody needs to withdraw 100 items per second

    What would a withdrawal limit look like? Would it be per day? A max number of items?

    There is a reason I don't touch the items in any bank of the guilds I am in - I only deposit gold for donations/fees. Sometimes I'd like to deposit items but there is usually only a handful of empty slots anyway.

    For transparency I dislike the new option of blocking members ability to see how much gold is in the bank and how much was put in or taken out by people. However, I do understand some of the reasoning of why it was introduced.

    The main problem of the screen shot above is there is no split stack tool for guild banks.
    If a guildie wants to withdraw a stack of mats they can only withdraw the whole stack and manualy replace the rest.
    A LOT of guildies don't know this...
    ZoS... PLEASE give us a Guild Bank Split Stack Tool!!!

    Umm, you can already do that. Just make is so that guildmaster or senior officers only have withdraw permissions...

    @D0PAMINE I am really happy for those improvements ....there is still a long list over improvements, that we have requested for since the start of the game, and have yet to see the shadow of. Like an advanced UI and guildmaster tools.

    @LMar we currently do not have withdrawal limits. Its either 100% permission to withdraw or 0.
    It's why I created this thread, I am requesting for withdrawal limits.
    What would a withdrawal limit look like? Would it be per day? A max number of items?
    @strebor2095
    Withdrawal limits would depend on what items people take. It would be nice if guildmasters could set the withdrawal limit per item.
    4 weapons and 11 armor is enough to cover dual wield/ s&b/ 7 body pieces and 3 jewelry per guildmember a day.
    max 8 armor glyphs
    max 4weapon glyphs
    max 3 jewelry glyphs
    1 green food buff
    25 blue food buff
    10 purple food buff
    200 material for level 1-cp140 armor/weapons
    600 material for cp150-cp160 armor/weapons
    10 green recipes
    5 blue recipes
    3 purple recipes
    1 gold recipe
    Sliders and withdrawal limits would be useful for this purpose.

    @wenchmore420b14_ESO
    We used to be able to split stacks in guildbank, but some people used it to dublicate items - so they removed that option. Now imagine how console players with crafting bag must go through, to stack items in their guildbanks - thy don't have access to addons.. It's a huge mess.

    @PlagueSD
    We do not have withdraw limits, and its inconvenient for a handful of officers to deligate items to 300+ guildmembers. People log in at different hours, sometimes there are no officers around or they are in a trial group and don't have time to go to a bank etc.

    It's why I request for more advanced options in that regard.

    @LMar me too, I really hope we get those soon.
    The current system is a big mess, and very open to be taken advantage of. A lot of problems and issues could be easily avoided, if we had more advanced options.
