Show only long/permenant buffs in ESO combat text?

I'm experimenting with combat text settings, and in "self buffs" I ONLY want to display Long and Permenant buffs. However, these don't show unless "self buffs" is also on, but then ALL self buffs show. I never want to see short buffs, there are just too many in a raid setting.

Is there something I'm missing, or did ZOS drop the ball again?

The buff trackers were pretty disappointing. I still use them on some characters but you should be able to flag specific skills/buffs/debuffs that you want to track. I certainly don't need 3 icons to tell me how much time I have left on Hurricane.
