Crit rush problem. Does not hit moving targets

I recently geared my sorc, and started noticing problems with crit rush morph stampede. Against moving targets it just misses. I spent a full stamina bar crit rushing a mounted played, and did not hit once. It even happens against targets that are not mounted.
When I played with the sorc a year ago I dont remember this problem med

I saw this first hand, I was on the other end tho. I was sprinting inside a keep with major expedition, some guy was spamming crit rush on me like 4-5 times , but they never landed or hit me, I could hear the sound of the skill and see him gapclose after me, but as I said..I was never hit.

But in all seriousness this is definitely an issue. Can't connect to anyone on a mount.

On My NB I can catch a mounted player with ambush. Did not realize mounted players had immunity to non ranged non NB players

I'm sorry but I have zero sympathy for this "problem" because I hate gap closer spam more than any other thing in ESO.

Gap closers should close the gap. Period. They are way too overstuffed with ancillary effects that all but negate ranged combat tools.

It's fine to add a modest snare or stun to help with uptime on your target, but IMO it's not fine that gap closers get high damage, low cost, supersonic speed, and ultra long range.

Sorry for the mini rant. On topic though, it makes sense that a dude on foot can't outrun a dude on horseback. /thread

One of the biggest reasons I just stopped using gap closers entirely.
As a templar it's better to just spam reflective light to snare and drain their mounts stamina to get them off.
For a DK , entropy and stone giant spam can dismount people pretty fast also.

I think its an issue that mounted players are immune to certain builds. If you get caught while mounted you should generally have to get off and fight.

Had the same issues with crit rush. I have been playing a MNB DW and lotus fan is just as bad. So I've removed most gap closers since morrowind.
