I think in the future, Zos can make Eso become more interesting by adding a new race such as Maormer. As far as we know ppl call Maormer "Sea Elves", or "Fish Elves". Then we can have another alliance war map, and this time , it will be a massive sea battle. You can rent, you can buy and decore you battle ship. Sail your ship with your crew to explore the ocean , hunting tresure, fight with monster. I think ESO can do it better than Archage did in the past

    That would be epic.
I know someone is going to say "but the Maormer are evil!", but the Daggerfall Covenant is portrayed as evil in the Ebonheart storyline. Every faction is "evil" to every other faction.
If people start a new character in the Dominion, you see that the Maormer and the Khajiits lived in Khenarthi's Roost side-by-side peacefully, until the Altmer took over the island. In the text, you see that the Maormer considered it their island, and see the Altmer as invaders. They get angry about it and want to drive the Altmer out.

How are all of the elitists going to gain line of sight advantages?
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Insight to Agree to Awesome Ratio = 1:6.04:2.76 as of 1/25/2019

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

    see battles
    under water content
    treasure hunting
    open see fishing etc.
would be kinda coold...but i doubt the engine can do it and i doubt zos will want to do the work

i think gw2 could handle this relatively well as they have great underwater mechanics and content

Maomer can work in ESO .
And open sea and under water combat are both great ideas .
And both can work well with a new alliances of
    Pyandoneans vs Tamrielic defenders .
Elder Kings II is a Role Playing Elder Scrolls mod for Crusader Kings III.

There was a quest (forget where) that took place on a ship. You fought a sea monster, some pirates then boarded another ship and kill their captain. So the mechanics are almost in place, it just needs to be fleshed out.

More like an island to the south, full of elves who think they are better then everyone else, so... yeah, pretty much like Sumerset. Just with sea serpents instead of eagles. ;)
Most people depict it about roughly the same size as the sumerset isles as well, though noone can really say for sure...
    planet_nirn___geographical__v2__by_hori873-d6h7sh0.png

And I think it would b a great idea to expand ESO into maormer territory. Would make a nice "Expansion" someday... the isles as adventuring zone, a new race instead of a new class, and sea battles instead of battlegrounds, and you have about as much content as ESO:Morrowind brough us... more even if they managed to take the opportunity to refit underwater exploration to -all- old maps, to at least let us dive fur sunken treasure in non-slaughterfishy waters... (my argonian character would love that, others would invest in rings of water breathing...)

Following the Lore. I remember that there are some kind of magic can allow ppl to breath under water. Soltha sil teach that for his ppl.

There were spells of water breathing in the solo player TES games, so you didn't have to hold your breath while diving for a key or something... (I always had a ring enchanted with an as permanent version of those as I could get in my characters inventory when playing through those games, just in case...)
And there also were fun underwater things to dive for, from the occasional treasure chest dropped down a well to full blown sunken ruins...

...sadly, ESO did not add underwater stuff to their version of tamriel. Not sure how much effort it would be to refit, I am guessing... too much... but if they were to ever go there, it'd be wicked! ;)

Maormer are just lazily reskinned Altmer in this game. No interest in playing as them unless they're completely overhauled.
