Critical question

When a piece of armor says "adds 454 to spell critical" ... is that going into some formula that increases your spell crit % chance, or increasing your spell crit damage, or a combination of both?
Sorry ... the way these things are calculated still confuses me!

Precise is 3.5 for one hand and 7% for,two,hand.

So if you have say a two,hand weapon with precise. You would have 10% plus 7% . then with 454 armor is another 2.5 %.

So you would have 19.5% chance,to,get,50% more,damage.

So how does the armor that "adds 454 to spell critical" work together with something like precise that adds a % critical chance?

454 is like 2.5 % crit chance. So precise would add to,that.

You get a base of,10% the different thing can add to it. Some cp bonus . some armor . some potions can do it also.

So when u crit the do 50% more damage at base. There are ways to,increase this also.

So you basically cut the raw number in half and then move the decimal over a few places to get the percentage and then add that percentage together with whatever you are getting from precise ?

When it says "# Critical"

Divide that number by 219.

That is the % critical you are receiving.

Example ... if I had a 5% precise bonus plus 500 from armor = (2.5%) plus my original 10% then my spell crit is around 17.5% ?

Example: Inner Light gives 10% spell critical

219 * 10 = 2190 spell critical

As stated in the in-game tooltip

Ya there is an add on that will tell u the armor,% instead of the number that's on armor. I,don't know,why zenimax puts that number on,armor instead of %

Like kamikazi said just,divide by 219 to,get percent on armor.

I came in here because I thought the OP had something "critical" to ask, and I was like "Damn, they must be in dire need of help if this where they're looking for it". I'm so disappointed I didn't get to be a hero....if just for one day.

1% = 219 crit chance that's all you need to know
