My guess would be Monday or Tuesday

You'll probably get an automated replay at first followed by some outsourced help desk millennial smoking weed at his computer desk replying to tickets. At which point he will see he is unable to help and send your ticket to a high tier. They will read your ticket on Monday morning and have it resolved in a timely fashion.

But maybe i'm wrong and have no idea what i'm talking about. I did just make all that up after all.

Once she is gone, she is gone I believe. I could be wrong of course, but I think you will need to restart her if you so want that character back.

I'm not sure how you could possibly delete a character by "mistake". There are pretty good fail safes against it.

Best of luck though in getting it back! Let us know if it works so we have a process if it happens to someone else.

There's been cases when the game first launched you had one character selected to delete it and it would delete the one in the upper slot so not sure if that's what happened but hopefully he can get the char back.

As I recall, you can't actually recover a deleted character. Once they're gone, they're simply gone.

The only exception would be if the character was deleted due to a server side error. Even then, from what I remember, there's a host of issues, and ZOS can give you a leveled up character, but they can't actually restore them once deleted.

Is that what happened to you?

Or, did you type 'DELETE' without caring about the consequences?

I've had a couple characters restored in the past. But that was 2+ years ago. I lost a Templar once that I was told was gone, couldn't be recovered.

Chances are your character is forever gone.

It may be possible for ZOS to restore your character. Just DO NOT create another character with the same name or it'll be gone for good.

Here's a response I've received from ZOS on this topic before. They'll likely have the same set of questions for you, so I recommend preparing for that ahead of time.
    Greetings,

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team!

Under certain circumstances, we are able to restore deleted characters.

If you have not already told us, we will need to know the following information before attempting to restore your character:
    • Deleted character name, race, class and level
    • UserID associated with the ESO account
    • E-mail address associated with the ESO account
    • Platform (PC/Mac, XB1, PS4)
    • Megaserver (NA/EU)

Please be advised that there is a risk of your bank being deleted when a character is restored. As such, if you would like to proceed with the character restoration, please make sure to move your bank items out of your bank before we do the restore as we are not able to replace these lost bank items or gold if the items disappear.

In addition, we ask that you refrain from creating new characters with the same name as the deleted character (this can hinder the restoration process) and that you have at least one empty character slot for the restored character.

If you would like to proceed with this restoration, let us know if you have your bank emptied, at least one open character slot, and provide the information above so we can attempt the character restoration.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me again.

    Warm Regards,
    The Elder Scrolls Online Team

It's quite easy for customer support to restore a character so long as it's not the same name as a long list of previous toons created with that exact same name - which I've actually heard of happening to those who are OCD about such things...

And yes it is fully restored with all mount upgrades and such.

The secret to getting past the automated response is to just keep replying to the messages they send til you get an actual person, who will likely have restored the character before even contacting you once they see what the request is.

In the past there was no time limit to how long a character could still be restored. There were, however, occasional bugs where a particular character was unrecoverable as the entry in the database was corrupted or some such but this wasn't by design.

ZOS has a habit of refusing to.

Even though games such as world of warcraft can do it easily and even years later, ZOS has a habit of refusing outright to.

    Looks like you've lost it.

    This.
Hopefully its possible to restore that character. :(

Ive heard that sometimes it deletes the first character in the list instead of the one you selected.
I dont know if its true or not, but knowing ZOS its quite possible.
