I'm a Diehard ESO Fanboy BUT,

I'm on console. Xbox- NA server.
I've been playing since beta.
I run multiple guilds.
I run a Facebook group with nearly 1,000 people.
I operate a chatroom with over 200 active players.
I've invested thousands of dollars in ESO.
I have over 50 accounts just for selling.
I play 40+ hours a week.
I've completed the ENTIRE game. All quests.
I've gotten Emporer.
I've done every Trial.
I love this game.
I love many of the people in it.

BUT,
ZOS you have the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I get disconnected every 15 min. This happens with exactly ZERO of my other games. There are even entire zones (Grahtwood, Wrothgar) I avoid to help prevent this. It doesn't really help.

You cater to new players and shun those who have stuck around through all of your bugs and exploits.

PvP is unplayable. The lag alone is bad enough. But every class has very broken skills that either don't work as intended or are just flat out broken. And don't get me started on the zergs.

Trials can't be completed because of the constant disconnections.

Overland quests are on easy mode.

The champion system was a great idea that you (ZO$) turned into a bad joke.

You don't ban exploiters or gold dupers.

You do nothing about bots.

I've never ONCE seen a GAMEMASTER.

You charge us for crowns and don't deliver them.

The crown store has become a gambling addiction for children. (Seriously, wtf?)

The state of the game is this,
ESO has the most potential of any MMO on the market or the horizon. But it's driven by a company that doesn't listen to its player base and clearly doesn't know what it is doing. In short ESO is amazing. Not because of the game itself, but because of its sheer potential. Zenimax on the other hand, your coders and combat team in my opinion fall short. And your marketing team... Well.. Crown Crates is all I can say.

I hope someone in Bethesda steps in and fixes this whole mess. Because the game isn't really playable and hasn't been for quite some time.

Thanks for listening. While some of this may seem harsh, it's an honest opinion of a player who has been here since Beta and has spoken with hundreds if not thousands of players. I am not alone.

Every achievement. Master angle among them. Not even the hardest or most time consuming. Emporer was definitely a major struggle.

A lot of this issues don't exist on PC, I guess ZOS should work more on console optimization, if possible.

The game's performance is crap on console. I have gotten blue screened from my last 4 or 5 VMA runs at least once. PvP is laggy as stated and trials are as well.

I know some passionate players that pretty much called zos' bad costumer service as the final straw for them. It's quite unfortunate. Will be super super helpful if they put more resources into that. Great for quality of life reasons too.

You only get special consideration if you stream the game and increase their sales.

Probably because the topic comes across more as a bragging post than as a reasonable complaint. Sure there are issues including some of those listed, but some of them relate solely to console, some are aggravated according to where in the world you play from, and some of them are plain silly (the one about crown stores for starters). Above all, however, the bragging part rather negates the critical part. To proclaim such accomplishments in the game suggests it's not really as bad a game as is being painted.

Incidentally, with regard to not having seen a Gamemaster and nothing being done about bots, I saw a Gamemaster in a delve doing a mass kick of bots soon after the game launched, and while I haven't seen one since it's pretty clear that action is being taken with bots, it's just that ZOS can't keep up with them.

All this talk about lag and blue screens, I hope my new setup I am building wont have problems. Maximus Apex IX mobo with aurora synch, 7700k 4.5 ghz oc. Tridentz 4266 mhz oc with aurora sync, gtx 1080 TI asus strix with aurora sync, 2 m.2s 960 evos, g2 850w gold cert super nova psu, Asus 10g shielded nic, and the latest keyboard and mouse from razer with aurora sync, also the new 35 inch ultra curve monitor from asus strix with 200hz, g sync, quantum dots, hdr and aurora sync lighting on the bk. Its what im putting together. All in a Enthoo Primo SE super tower with be quiet 360mm lc and 10 140mm be quiet fans. Think eso will run well?

I wasn't bragging. I was making a point that I have invested quite a bit of time into ESO.

Thats pretty neat. Im debating on moving to destiny. But I'll reinstall eso at some point I'm sure. I'll post a screen shot when I'm able.

I would love to see like anyone in Zenimax to play the damn game first place. Hopes for anyone from Bethesda are futile.
The game started to be unplayable since Dark Brotherhood Patch exactly and like 80% of ESO's population (excluding casuals) will agree with that. They just focused on casual players and milking crown store for the last year only.

Unless they won't finally learn from their mistakes and reintroduce 1.4 - 2.2 gameplay experience, there is not really any good reason for playing.

I play on PC and it's rare that I get disconnected. I've been playing all day in Imperial City today and didn't get disconnected once, although there was a spot where I had some lag. If you're getting disconnected every 15 minutes, something is wrong. Maybe this is a console problem?

I watched someone at ZoS play just once, on an ESO Live episode when they were previewing the Warden to us. I had to just laugh to myself because you can see they were using like 3000 CP, and had some kind of infinite health/resource mode active because several times they ran out of health and just kept spamming LA with cliff racers.

As for the crown store shenanigans and chapter nonsense what do you expect when you got Donald Trumps brother sitting on the board of directors?

Yep. I agree the game as is, is no longer enjoyable. They continue to break key functions to overbalance for the casual all the while continue to have massive critical bugs and server issues.
I've worked for an mmo and never have seen such mismanagement of a player base.

And the fact that ZOS would rather send combo a formal warning for calling out the horses-hit than to address these real concerns completely turns me off. I've cancelled all my subs and am exiting the game until they figure it out. And I know hundreds of players that are doing and have done the same.

Yeah it's sad to see them just bury their heads in the sand. Once the core players leave, the casuals will lose interest because no one is running good guilds anymore.

So true and so sad - this game has lost so many longtime players to the apathetic attitudes of our ZOS overlords.
Change is only coming from he who whines the loudest, it seems.
I don't think they can save ESO at this point without a major overhaul of the entire game - the number of problems only grows every time they tinker with it.

Honestly, I have no sympathy toward ZOS. If I were you, I would leave this game. To experience disconnects every so often, with no end in sight would push me over the edge to quit. A dedicated player like you, who has no doubt contributed a decent amount of cash flow toward them; ZOS should not deserve another penny from you. Move on my man, check in every so often to see if they have improved upon the foundation of the game, and if not, continue to enjoy your gaming experiences elsewhere.

Well, that's my two cents at least.
