Quick question for what I need your ideas:

At the Homestead time were the DW MagPlar OP and also Morrowind I mean still so played: is it still possible in HotR? It looks so awesome to play with two swords

Yes 2 swords still viable on front bar, destro back bar.

Since templar is generally up close using puncturing sweep you can still light attack weave and allows you to get full monster set and 2x5 piece on front bar.

Do templars have good sustain? I didn't ever played temp. I'm Just thinking how could you restore magicka with HA if your frontbar is DW.

I can sustain DW using Witchmother's Brew and an absorb magicka enchant on infused main hand sword. But otherwise find it difficult without Moondancer proc.

im a high elf and run a vma shock staff instead of fire. i know dunmer magplars pull more dps but i dont like the look of them and their lack of sustain and if im gonna use a shock staff, might as well take adv of high elf passives and their sustain.

I run 5 moondancer, 5 julianos, vma infused staff, moondancer swords infused shock enchant and precise weapon damage enchant. 2 ilambris or 2 grothdarr

I can still pull decent dps esp if im testing with someone who can throw synergies every 30 sec to proc moondancer.

a magicka class with dual wield swords is a lot of fun and breaks the monotony of staves

If sustain an issue can always put a heavy attack in rotation on back bar every other rotation.

5 Moondancer (3 Jewels + 2 Swords)
5 Julianos
2 Grothdarr/Valkyn
1 Destrostaff backbar (flame/lightning staff)

Use synergies on frontbar to proc either one of the MD buffs. When I get the regen buff I sit at 1,8k regen which is more than enough to sustain my rotation.

Edit: Good luck getting those swords though....took me 4 months to farm them...

5 moondancer/5 BSW/2 grothdar/bi stat food = you dont even need channeled focus the sustain with moondancer is so good...

If your running solo,bloodthorn is a good alt too moondancer

Was just pondering this myself glad I found the post.

I mainly heal and after completing wc/spc I find its a horrible setup for everything but vet mode dlc dungeons and even then seems like massive overkill whilst gimping any dps I can put out quite considerably.

Im thinking of switching to a dw dps bar only use 1 destro skill. Anyway and losing spc only choosing spc as I have the 3 jewels in wc.



Would a switch from atro mundus to something else do what I want and boost the dps I dont need 3.5k regen heh

Can I just switch spc out for a harder hitting armor set and monster set.

Should I ditch everything and go with a whole new armor setup.
