Khajiit for epicness or Orc for effectiveness?

I have 8 AD characters and 1 DC char. I had an EP mageblade that I deleted when it was level 35 to make room for another char. I always said to myself that I'll never make an EP char again as I deeply resent the Pact (this coming mainly from how they behave in PvP).

I picked up some in game friends on the EP side though through duels, and I'm going to finally break my long standing vow and make an EP stamWarden.

I can't decide though if should pick Khajiit or Orc. Khajiit is of course just gorgeous, but Orc is more effective in terms of passives for PvP. It's a hard decision.

Please give me some inspiration, name suggestions are a bonus. Thanks!

Even tho i think orc's are the coolest myself, i would say khajiit if you prefer them more, as the diffrence in races arent that big, specialy not between 2 stam races.

Always go for looks.
Racial passives r among the things that r very overrated by ppl who r bad at math.
Pure dmg wise: orc gets +6% max stamina (thats ~3% more dmg on skills that scale with stamina) and +4% on melee attacks.
Khajiit gets +8% critical chance, thats average 4% more dmg given u do nothing for your critical dmg, can go up to the full 8% if u stack crit dmg really high.
I have no clue about pvp, but that might be not that great cause ppl stacked impenetrable iirr??

Under the line, your cp distribution, your skillbar loadout and your chosen armortypes passives will do much more for u than the sets u choose. And the sets u choose will do much much more for you, than your racials. In the case above, the racials r very close even.

Sadly, there aren't any proper green skin tones for player Orcs.

I have a Khajiit stam warden who is a lot of fun to play. Sustain seems quite good too.

Not all characters have to optimized. If you have enough basic meta builds, go wild.

Argonian is also an option, by the way, but Khajiit is sweet as well.

Khajiht passives are just not for PvP, specially if you are not a Stamblade.

From a passive standpoint, Orc>Khajiit. Redguard is better than both IMO, but if you want to be a pretty kitty, well be a pretty kitty.

I have 6 khajiit characters, even for magicka specs... Even though I absolutely love how they look, I understand that having more suitable racial passives is like having extra armor set equipped. Playing good looking character is fun, but being more successful at their role and having easier time is fun too... I especially painfully noticed it recently on my pvp healer - she has to wear sets which don't compliment her absence of any useful racial passives. She has only a bit less than 31k magicka, has like 1400 mag recovery (cause I started using tristat food instead of Witchmother's brew to get more stamina to break free and block) and low spell damage. And when allies are sieging and I have to constantly heal without any enemy to heavy attack (cause all enemies are on second floor of keep using flaming oils and ballista), magicka consumption is way higher than magicka gain. If she was breton, altmer or argonian, this would mean some better sustain and stronger heals, without sacrificing anything

I must admit she is doing not bad as khajiit; this duel vs some "pro" stamdk would have lasted forever if flag guards didn't respawn and I lost my focus. Low damage output and bad choice of CC meaning I wouldn't be able to kill him or wear him out of resources, but my own resource management to always have stamina to break free and magicka to outheal his damage meaning he wouldn't be able to kill a khajiit healer alone.

For stamina characters, the only useful thing khajiit has is 8% weapon crit. Honestly, this is vital only for stamsorc who uses Crit Surge for self healing - it's the reason I wouldn't change race of my khajiit stamsorc (but also his main role is pve, pvp is just extra time killer). For stamwarden and especially pvp... If you don't care about loss of extra armor set, choose khajiit. Also have in mind, that you may start to care about it after lot of time invested into this character, and then instead of creating new character you will have to buy race change token
