Is the game with coming back to?

I cancelled my sub during the closed Beta for Morrowind. I was subbed from PC launch until april. Does it seem that ZOS is fixing the issues, or are we still being ignored? The beta made it seem that proc builds were becoming a nessecity to compete and I wasn't interested in that play style. So, is it worth the effort to reinstall the game, or just not bother?

crashing a lot more, extreme lag in trials, dungeon and bg queue still messed up, they tried to balance traits and mundus stones and of course still royally effed it up. yes im a console peasant on the more peasant xbox one

I would not sub until the next dlc when retraiting and a new trial comes out assuming retraiting is not gonna be a huge grind fest

I spent 3 years, playing more than I'd like to admit, waiting on the next patch to fix all the issues. It seemed like the fixes usually caused more damage than help.
I realized around March that I wasn't enjoying playing, and also the Morrowind DLC was underwhelming.

Lag is not good but proc sets were nerfed and trait balance is better than before. RNG will be less of an issue with Update 16 (but details are not given yet)

This. So many of the game's problems stem from people asking "is the game any good" instead of trying it themselves.

I don't know why half the people on forums even play this game still. All they do is complain about how bad the game is. To OP, it's absolutely worth coming back. Balance is the best its ever been in my opinion and whether you like PVP or PVE I think there's a lot of good content. Try it out again.

its a great time to come back, they change the why you level, its a real open world now, you still have loading thoug zones but you can really level in any one of them at any level and low levels can play freely with high level players with no issues, its been a blast for me. the morrowind dlc was a disappointment tho.

Personally I love the game. There is only ONE sticking point that makes me really annoyed atm, and that is Miats ( or any other add on like it ) attack warning addon. Renders bow builds nearly useless in pvp. I still will play, but if this is ignored too much longer, I will also stop playing.

So if you dont play a bow class, or do not play pvp, then sure, its worth it imo.

The game was worth never leaving. It's not perfect by any means, but what game is? I played WoW for over a decade, and the boards sounded the same there the whole time as they have here. I'm here because I think ESO is the better game, others disagree.

You'll end up getting feedback that trends towards negative on this board, since most people who are enjoying the game, don't bother much with posting. Out of my regular group of four, I'm the only one who visits the boards. The other three just enjoy playing and roll with the punches as they come. I'm a bit more critical, but overall still really enjoy my time here.

I poke my head in every 60-90 days....worth running around a sec but then I'm usually off again.

I never really left; I've had a hiatus here and there to play other games when they came out. In general I'd say the game has been improving since day 1.

Proc sets are no longer meta for the most part, if that was your only issue. Selene's and Valkyn are still fairly strong, but the brokenly OP proc stacking builds are gone. Other than that it depends on what you had issue with.

In some ways I think it is better and in others I think it is worse, but all of my opinions are subjective and should be ignored...

If the only thing that made you leave was proc sets then there were a lot of changes to make them less of a threat in PvP and anecdotally I think a lot less people are using them, but I guess you have to log in, play, and decide if it is to your liking.
