My Sorc has been stuck for 4 DAYS!!!! NO HELP FROM ZOS

My character is broken. It can't jump. A different Tech support person has been sending me 1 email everyday explaining how they don't fix it. Ive tried sending videos but Outlook is terrible and it just wont let me for no reason. Im getting EXTREMELY SICK OF BROKEN ELECTRONICS!!!!!!!! FIX MY CHARACTER!

Is it stuck or you can't jump or you can't jump out of where you are?

If the latter, just Fast Travel to another place. If you can't jump, did you remap the Jump command? If the first, then either travel somewhere or use the /stuck command to get out.

No my character is literally broken lol. I cant jump.
Like the game will register my a button in other ways but i cant jump on 1 character

Have you tried remapping your controls? As in, putting jump on a different button? Maybe that'll jog its memory on how to jump.

No I havnet and that makes no sense. Again they game registers my input. Ive been talking to tech support sort of. Its a broken effect on my character. They cant fix it. Its been stuck since friday night

To disregard a simple and easy suggestion like remapping your control settings as "that makes no sense" just shows that you are going to be mad no matter what so do everyone a favor and just find another game. I have found simpler solutions to more complex problems many times in many games.

He only reason I can map button is because i have an elite controller. Im on xbox my A button works. It registers in the game that why that doesnt make sense.

Control schemes are not shared between characters. Check your mappings to make sure jump is mapped.

And don't expect people to help you if you are a jerk to them either.

So apparently, console players can't change controls in-game. That's stupid. Try anything that seems like it might "jumpstart" your character. Have you tried dying? You could try jumping whilst in water to see if that works.

Are there any CC moves that prevent jumping? Maybe the game glitched and thinks you're stuck in one of those.

All they're going to do is remove you from their forums for flaming pretty much everyone in this thread who's trying to help you, as well as threatening to quit the game. I can only imagine how you're treating CS right now, no wonder you're not getting any help.

you can't re map controlers on xbox (unless you have an advanced controler) so OP's reply of that makes no sense is not dismissive they are simply confused as to why this is being suggested just as the person who made the suggestion & yourself are confused as to why this hasnt been done already

OP i had an issue on xbox the other day where blade of woe refused to work
i tried all the obvious solutions that ZOS would of told me to try i asume they have already taken you through these but here we go anyway
type /reloadUI into text chat
clear saved data
perform a hard reset of the console
reset router
change controler

none of this worked, the only thing that worked was placing myself into a new instance (for me this was a mages guild quest hopefully it was the new instance that resolved the issue and not a specific quest) but traveling to a diffrent zone, entering a delve/dungeon/trial, quing for PvP, entering the sewers even visiting a friend or guildies home should also help you out

edit for PS i also swapped characters & did this silly thing which shouldnt have any effect but fixes most problems with the game which was to switch server then switch back - please dont ask me why it works but it does! LOL

Maybe your character suffered a lower-back injury and as such can no longer withstand the pressure of a landing, so they refuse to gain altitude.

There are controller schemes on Xbox though. Options>>Gameplay>>Templates. Template B has jump mapped to the right thumbstick. So, again, have you checked your controller mapping?

A friend of mine had a long term problem where she couldn't mount up and couldn't interact with random things preventing progress. Eventually a month or so ago she spammed them with bug reports and they finally sent her a debug tool to run and... well, now her character works like a charm.

What I'm trying to say is, squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Anyways, I'm on PS4 and don't know much about the specification similarity or difference of PS4 and Xbox. Been stuck in a spot, crevices or whatever many, many times where I can't jump off or away. I can move around and around and roll, but always stuck in same spot; just stuck. However, each and every time, I throw up the map and port to a wayshrine somewhere. Yeah, it will cost that measly 146 gold, but it works every time, and I get unstuck every single time. Unless, you have some crazy technical malfunction, you should be able to port away to a wayshrine somewhere.
