Is it normal for a MMO to take more than 120gb

I've no idea how the console version works, but your question led me to look at the Zenimax Online folder on my PC. To my surprise, I found 2 large folders, "oldThe Elder Scrolls Online" (38.2GB) and "The Elder Scrolls Online" (57.7GB). I guess the folder was changed when the game was switched from separate installations for the NA and EU megaservers to a single installation, although I can't recall doing anything specific at that time. I assume I can delete the "oldThe Elder Scrolls Online" folder but don't recall seeing it discussed before. It just contains a "Depot" folder with loads of "depot" files labelled "partial download". No idea really what it's about! Does anyone happen to know please if I'm right and that folder can be safely deleted?

If you can access game folders on console you might want to see if you have any such "old" folders that may now be unnecessary.

I don't know about consoles, but on PC my ESO takes 57.7 GB space on my HDD.

I'd back Tandor's advice - if you are able to check the contents, see if you have any old folder's (such as he mentioned) that you can manually delete from the drive. It's possible you might have old & unneeded files/folders that you can safely delete.

If all else fails, and you have the time to do so... you could always uninstall ESO (and manually remove any files/folders left behind if possible) and re-install it.

You seem to possibly have installed it twice?
Similar post exists on the Xbox section
(Asking if you may have it on two diff hard drives somehow)
