I'm going to gloat just a bit. If ya wanna curse me that is fine because RNG was good to me.
It all started with a mistake. I had three Master Writs and could only actually do one of them. I needed to learn motifs to do the other two. I by accident learned the wrong one and needed to find an Ancient Orc: Axes to complete it. I hit the guild stores first and found zero no matter the price. None to be had. I did find the other motif I needed though and it was bargain priced. To get the Ancient Orc motif I decided to run the public dungeon in Wrothgar and hope. I have a character that needs to level skills so I decided to run the dungeon once a day.
First day I got nothing good really, just stuff to decon or sell.
Second day I got an Ancient Orc: Helmet motif that I can sell.
Third day first boss I got the motif I needed.
I learned that motif and the other I bought meaning I had three Master Writs I could do.
I use the vouchers to buy purple Hlaalu furnisher's documents. I snagged a few I didn't have and can now add to what furniture I can create. I also snagged the Blue Print Redguard Bookcase: Full and the Blue Print Redguard Divider: Lattice. I can sell those two blueprints for a little over 400K gold.
All told over three days of what amounts to a maybe four hours of leveling skills on my Sorcerer I was able to learn two new motifs a few new furniture blueprints and come out with nearly half a million gold. I was rewarded for making a mistake.
