LEAVING ESO. GAME HAS BECOME UNPLAYABLE. IT'S BEEN REAL, FAREWELL MY FELLOW TAMRIELANS.

Being an ESO player from the start, I have stuck with it as the bugs, broken group tool and random kicking and complete game crashing became more frequent. The game becomes a little more broken with every addition. After finally getting a queue for the new dungeons (an hour wait), I experienced the usual dungeon lag- at times I can't cast abilities or switch weapons while fighting mobs or bosses without an extremely long delay. Sometimes, it doesn't even register when I press a button. This is not a "network" issue, trust me. A game producing such lag at critical moments in fast-paced combat is simply not playable. 4-5 seconds later, if my game snaps back to present time, I'm lying dead on the ground, or my teammates are because my heals didn't cast. But this is nothing new- I have been experiencing it, as have other players, for quite a while; Morrowind crashed on me 3-4 times a day. I had really hoped this new DLC would be exciting and fun to play, but while spending an hour and a half fighting through a lagging dungeon, only to get logged off during the final boss fight, well, that was it for me! It finally made me realize I am playing a game that not only wastes so much of my time, and frustrates me every day, but has lost all its fun altogether. I am only writing this as a farewell to the community. I have met many friends, guildmates, and random players and have had great times with them all. Thousands upon thousands of hours I have poured into this game. But I simply cannot give any more of my time and money to a game that predictably and constantly worsens with time. I'll miss the Elder Scrolls universe, but more importantly I'll miss all you guys as well. I hope you can somehow continue to enjoy the experience.

Even though I was very underwhelmed by the Destiny 2 beta, I will be moving on to that. And there are plenty new releases coming out this fall, such as Assassin's Creed and Star Wars Battlefront 2 that should keep me occupied.

While goodbye threads are not allowed on the forums , I will say to submit this feedback in a reply email after you unsub . You will receive a confirmation email with a link . A different department then Ingame customer service will get it . Sometimes it is worth taking the time to do so .

lol Yesterday I seriously considered just dropping ESO cold turkey. My GM doesn't know it, but he talked me out of it when he said he was going to stage some events to spice up the guild. I haven't logged back in yet (not like it's been that long) and I don't plan to till they get started.

Well, ESO. Your move. I haven't quit yet, but I am THIS close to the edge. And how's that for a grey area, mods? xD

I'm on the PC, NA server, and don't have those problems. I played most of the day today (home sick) and didn't crash once, and didn't have lag. I wasn't in Cyrodiil, though.

Clearly this thread is not for ppl like you, why you read it and even "contributed" remains a mystery.. maybe all of you should start calling "I don't care" out to everyone and everything you don't care about.

I've been playing for a bout a year and a bit now- and i m close to where you are. i accomplished most of the games content solo, vma, emp, quests, max cp, stuff like that- and then set my sights to trials and things that would require serious time involvement and commitment to other people. making appointments on discord- keeping em, etc, etc. well since then- about morrowind - I've been so disappointed further by the game. the stability has always been an issue. but when ur in a trial group, a bg group, trying to accomplish something- and someone drops out- it plain sucks. when that person is you-its the *** worst. it happened to me twice last week in vet trials going for times- and afterwards i was like "sorry guys i won't waste your time joining til this gets sorted". and this is after I've sunk about 3000 dollars on a top cpu, upgraded my internet connection to the best possible for my area, etc, countless dollars supporting crown crates, etc, etc. simply put -0 the game NEEDS an oceania and asia server. i see streamers complain about their *** deeps when they hit 200 ping from 100. I've never had less than 350. when ur in solo vma - who cares, but as an end game player - things like that are annoying when you want to go for end game goals. anyway- just adding more anonymous voices to the chorus in the hope that one day we are heard.
