Having spent much time (with several homes to do this in), aligning the few flowers on offer with vases, and constructing planters from other materials, I started considering easier options for getting vases of flowers and potted indoor plants and larger planters for interior or exterior use in your homes, and this is what I came up with.
Have a florist in each alliance capital, in the same area as other furnishers, that sells (for gold) a selection of flowers in vases and potted plants of a variety of sizes and colours, for placement in homes. In my idea, the price of these would be in the same range as existing plants/trees for outdoor use, depending on size - so starting at 100g for a small vase of flowers, up to a few thousand for a large outdoor planter display.
The selection of flowers and plants could change once every 3 months for some seasonal flavour.
