Felt like writing this, because, no hate toward these people, but some people unknowingly tease others when it comes to Stam DK tanky damage build. And these Youtubers claiming that they came up with their build, and upon seeing someone else rocking same/similar build, they say something ridiculous like, "You've seen me do it. That's why you're playing the same race as I do in this and this playstyle."
Just... no.
To get right into this, for Stam DK tanky damage build, here are the essential 2 sets you will need: Bloodspawn and 5 pieces of Werewolf Hide on 1h and shield bar. Other set is your choosing. Trait, you can either go impen on big pieces and sturdy on smalls, or go full out sturdy. For armor enchants, it'll be superb if you can get tri-stat glyph on all or oj 3 big pieces. You'll do damage with 2h, and I'll get to how you do the damage.
The reason for those two sets is simple: ult gen. These perma-blocking stam dks get their massive healing with vitality pot, and stam "regen" from using ult mostly. By the time they're out of stam from blocking, chances are, their ult will be ready for use.
As to how you do the damage when you have one or two reduce block cost jewelry enchant, this is simple. You'll see these stam dks use venomous claw for obvious reason. Massive dot tick. Then they proceed to "Take Flight" on you before using execution. Occasionally, they'll have to use dizzying swing, but that's rare. With gold 2h, having 2 reduce block cost won't hurt your damage output too much. Need I mention Wrath passive, as well as Fury proc, if that's your chosen remaining set? Around 3k weap damage is all ya need to do damage effectively.
I personally don't enjoy this playstyle, but thought I'd give it those people that are like, "OMG you're cheating". And for those stam dk Youtubers that either block out your buff screen or has it turned off... please. We already have a guild full of players running these stam dk builds lmao i don't think there's this "secret recipe" in this game, unless you're introducing a completely new style of play, then it would make more sense, which I've seen some people do. But if you're just a generic competitive build... then yeah it kinda does get weird watching those videos with buffs blocked or off. Don't get mad about my sharing of generic stam dk build, because they have all been up on Youtube since at least 2 years ago lol just trying to help new players out.
