Does anyone know the best place to steal furnishings?

I've been able to pickpocket a handful of patterns for furniture, and once or twice I've managed to loot a couple of small pieces of furniture, but at this rate it seems like I'm only finding 1 piece of furniture for every 1000 things pillaged.

Both downstairs and upstairs, as it's a solo instance no competition for the containers either.
Loot, leave for a while(reset time seems to vary) rinse and repeat.When people say to me........
