Serious Bugs with an achievements in Veteran Trials (ZOS Team, please respond)

TheMage
08.22.2017 I've completed Veteran Hel Ra Citadel for the first time, killed the last boss (The Warrior), got "Bust: Ra Kotu" (awarded for completing Veteran Hel Ra Citadel), but did not get achievement "Hel Ra Citadel Conqueror".

I meet all of the qualifications for getting the achievement (CP level >660).

I've done all recommendations of Customer Support (/reloadui; disable all add-ons and perform a Soft Reset by completely exiting the game for 15 minutes then logging back in) but it didn't bring success.

Customer Support answered that they can not help. Status of my ticket "Solved" (but it doesn't, in fact). Very disappointed.

Is there any solution of this issue?

    Any response from ZOS Team?

Yes, it's my individual case but it's possible to happen with anyone.

It's a serious game fault, that killing motivation to play and further investing.

Today (08.25.2017) I received achievement "Time Trial: Weekly (Completed a Weekly Trial within 33 minutes)" in veteran Aetherian Archive, but I've not received achievement "Time Trial: Aetherian Archive (completed the Aetherian Archive within a time limit of 33 minutes)".

So, I didn't receive 2 achievements in Veteran Trials for 3 days. You can check all my logs in game.

ZOS Team, please explain what's going on?

A serious bug is something that will stop you (or others) from progressing through quests/dungeons/... further. This can involve client crashes and non appearing NPCs, mobs and non granted quest progresses. Also unusable items or items that don't appear in your inventory are serious bugs.

I wouldn't call what you have noticed a serious bug. Sure, its anoying but you don't get any benefits by getting it. There are a lot more of such "bugs" in the game and way more actual serious bugs that should be addressed before even considering fixing this IMO.

Kessra, getting an achievements is one of a main part of this game. You getting titles, dyes, skins, etc., and motivation for staying playing (it's more important I'd say).

"Non appearing NPCs, mobs and non granted quest progresses" (as you said) - this is the same that does not get any achievements for your progress in this game, especially in that hard end-game aspect as a Veteran Trials. It's a main game content.

I guess that if it happened with you, you'll not be such a "loyal". It could be with you. Just think about it. And in this case your reaction will be different, just for sure.

But it's just an emotions and chit-chat.

It's a serious technical bug which cause a problem. It should be fixed. It's a normal for any game product, isn't it?

It happened to me a couple of times already and while it may be enoying it is not the end of the world. You could complete the trial and it is thus not as serious as you name it.

Again, a serious bug is something that prevents you (or any other player) from progressing through a quest, i.e. a client crash or quest mobs not appearing, or grants players an unintended benefit or malus (i.e. certain sets not doing what they should or granting additional stats which they shouldn't) which will be expoited both in PvE and PvP.

That being said, I'm all yours when it comes down to fixing bugs and glitches. I bet if ZOS (or a player) would start a poll questioning what is more important, new content or bug fixing, I guess most people would opt for the latter option until most bugs got eliminated.

MMOs are always compared to WoW in terms of active players or revenues but seldom have I seen a comparison on devs fixing bugs in relation to releasing new content. Blizzard is well known for their almost bug-free production. This does not mean that Blizzard games don't contain bugs, hell they do, but you also see them getting fixed pretty fast and in regards to the size of the content they release bugs are rather sparse as they use their PTR to actually tweak classes and fix reported mechanics. Also, their philosophy in regards to balancing players and content is miles ahead of ZOS or any other MMO I've played so far. If ZOS would investigate into that and implement a propper test-suite as well as a QA department that actually does what it is supposed to do, we wouldn't have to argue whether something is a serious or a minor bug in first place

Yes, it's not the end of the world. It's just a serious bug which prevent character progress in an end-game stage (where there are not a quests except daily) and must be fixed, for individual character or whole game, nevermind.

If you don't think so, and decide for yourself what is more important and what is not, it's your opinion.

just a heads up trials were seriously bugged on xbox for over 100 days before they were addressed

and by seriously bugged i mean actually bugged, as in unable to make it through a single pull of adds without half the team crashing, this had a detrimental effect that the end game community still hasnt recovered from

On the topic of busted trial achievements, has anyone been able to complete the Santum Ophidia: Feeding Pit since One Tamriel dropped?

Or even start it for that matter?

    LOL no

Prior to 1T, you were able to complete that on normal mode, as well as the warhorn on HRC. When they changed it to vet only, the feeding pit broke, and the horn IIRC was broke for a time before it was fixed. Feeding pit is a long lost urban legend, as there are enough vet raiders now that have never seen it and think I'm lying when I tell them there used to be 36 trolls that would all come and attack you.
