ESO+ Turn off DLC

All the DLC is rubbish imo, the solo content I don't want to do the dungeon finder solo with all them activated is a bit of a bore fest when you get the long ones compared to the standard dungeons and can be a nightmare on harder ones with mechanics.

Basically I find the base game more than enough and would happily sub for the craft bag and boosts to xp etc. plus my 1500 crowns so anyone one know if there's a way to deactivate the DLC but keep my eso+?

You can only untick it (on console anyway), but it always remains. Unticking it only takes the opening quest out of your quest log I'm sure. The actual dlc is downloaded with all the other data. The sub or purchasing it unlocks it.

It's so rare to get DLC dungeons on random, it's not that big a deal

Was thinking about this myself. I would like to play the DLC dungeons sometimes in the random dungeon rotation but not every time. They are way too long and with noobish players even too hard. I like the DLC dungeons anyway but sometimes just not worth the time. Don't make them easier. Just add a tick option that I want them included in the random dungeons or not.

Sometimes I feel a bit in a disadvantage that I have the DLC dungeons in the rotation.

Wow! I thought wrothgar was the best zone in the game the stories immense, the areas beautiful and the public dungeons were great

Yeah I liked Wrothgar, if I get rid of eso plus would buy that no interest in any of the other DLC's.

Feel the same, I like grinding them for xp and loot to break down so like to get them done quickly but sometimes a DLC one comes up and your falling asleep through it or wasting an hour not getting anywhere.

yeah it'd be nice to have a "non DLC queue" as the Shadows of the hist dungeons are cancer

Wish that was true. Actually I nearly get into the DLC dungeons more often than the normal ones. And I could do 2-3 basic dungeons by the time I finish the DLC dungeons. Not talking about the new Horns of the Reach dungeons because they are nice and quick.

Actually at low levels when most other dungeons are still locked you'll get into DLC dungeons quite often, which is bad because they are most difficult with low level characters.
This, i farm nWGT for spell power cure, honestly the dungeon is harder than the easy vet dungeons.
No its not just the low level players, even semi decent groups tend to have more issues.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

It would be nice to have a check box in dungeon finder so that if you want a random dungeon you can disable the possibility of being ported into a dlc one - sometimes you just want to find something to do for 15 minutes, you don't want to end up in a relatively new dungeon with a pug.

I think that is a reason for people to abandon the dungeon. When they discover it's white gold or prison they just run away :D

This is actually the reason I don't get an ESO+ subscription anymore.
Not having to deal with DLC dungeons in Random Dungeon is worth it!
Just bought the DLCs I wanted (the ones with NO annoying dungeons).

The problem is that dungeons has level requirements, this dates back to the start then dungeons had fixed mob level in normal, this was later changed to scaled to group leader before beeing set to fixed level with one tamriel.
An level 10 only get the starting zone dungeons, at 20 you also get the next dungeons like elden hollow in Grahtwood.
However the DLC dungeons don't have level requirements, so the level 10 player has 6 standard dungeons and the dlc, 6 if he has eso+.
It would take an couple hours to change this, overall reduce level requirements, but adjust so you put the 2 dungeons with more complex mechanics at the end, and so the dlc around level 40.
As its now leveling low level alts with random dungeons is an handicap if you have eso+
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Didn't even think of being low level and having an even greater chance of DLC dungeons coming up, that should be reason alone for the suggestion made to untick them.

    ...speak for yourself...

At least 6 out of 10 random dungeons I do are a dlc. And almost everyone is filled with at least two that are under cp100.

It's gotten so bad I instantly leave and jump on another character so I can reqeueu fast. It it happens again I drop and jump on my 3rd character.

I've had to do this more than once. I'm not run a dlc or any vet dungeon with anyone under cp160.

yea, nothing more annoying than queueing for a random normal and getting cradle or mazzatun, and everyone there is a sub 30 player with no idea about mechanics so the end up wiping while you carry all 3 for all bosses. not to mention they are long and tedious.
Those dlc dungeons need a level requirement or something on normal, not fun doing it with randies or please add queue without the dlc dungeons.
More infuriating doing the dlc dungeons on vet and out of all the times I pugged vet cradle or vet mazz, i had maybe 2 clears with pugs, both I had to explain all the dam mechanics, taking hours...
Just stressful, not pug friendly at all

Had 4 random normal the other day on my level 15ish toon.
1st Spindleclutch II - I was like ok, could be worse.
2nd ICP - ok, can be done, but very long
    3rd WGT - okkkkkkkk...
    4th CoS - WHAAAAAT

Done them all anyway, had to replace some players here and there. So yeah, on low level toon I get the DLC dungeons more often. And when I get them I'm more often with low level players.

DLC dungeons need a level requirement of 25-30.

And I still get the same XP after 30-60 mins than after the 15 mins easy dungeons.

Anyway why Vet Random dailies not give more XP reward?
