3. research slot seem to bug in woodworking

The third research slot in woodworking on my main is empty but when I try to research an item it tells me "no empty slot available". Has anyone encountered this already and is there a fix?
If a screenshot and/or more explanation is needed please let me know.

✭...Also, in the patch notes it stated the bug was created when cancelling an item twice, yet I had never cancelled any research.
Same here never canceled a research but got the bug last Friday only on wood working..
Fixed mine with the addon in this post, installed the addon went to a wood working table, bug gone.
(I have disabled the addon to see if the bug will come back...It will be about 21 days before I need to research again).

woufff✭✭✭✭Sorry to say, but my problem is still not solved even after today's patch. I'm continuing this thead because the other one linked above slipped a bit too much into OT subjects for my taste
Should I submit a ticket, or how to solve? It's a bit a pity that I cannot continue research with these already slightly excessive research time needed for the last traits if I may say so ...

When I logged into the EU Server this morning I was able to cancel my "ghost" research item and start my 3rd woodworking research. But on NA, where I have the bug on 2 of 3 characters, I could not cancel the non existent research item and could not start a third, both in woodworking. I didn't get the bug in Blacksmithing or Clothing research.
Also, in the patch notes it stated the bug was created when cancelling an item twice, yet I had never cancelled any research.1 -

The add-on also worked for me, same as described by @majulook above - thanks also to @silvereyes for the excellent advice.
