I can put almost anything I pick up on guild store, belong to only 2 fairly OK trade guilds, and always sell everything if it is properly priced.

That said, I make most my gold these days just off walkin around killing stuff and picking up gold. An hour of grinding pretty much any humanoid, gold-holding mobs results in 10k or so. Imperial mobs, even better. Get a good wall of elements and go grind Vile Manse during slow hours. Sadly, they changed Prosperous, that stuff was great, lol. Anyway, as I mention earlier, I always have a base of a few million in bank and pickup another 20k or so every day just casually playing, without consciously thinking about it. Somethings I vendor, some not. Gotta know the value of stuff. Also, I rarely bother to put anything in guild store that I don't know has a fair demand, and rarely anything with a value below 1k. That is mainly because I only have 30 sell slots per guild.

Rare overland sets sell well. I did a lot of farming of necropotence last patch, at one point pieces were selling for 35k per divines piece, later lowered it to 25k for the bigger pieces.

But Necropotence was nerfed so people probably aren't interested in it anymore.

You'll want to check in what sets are good this patch and farming those are one thing you can do.

You can also get into flipping items in guild stores, if you can find some items going for cheap sometimes you can relist them for more than double what you got them for. not always but sometimes. But even a profit of 1k or even 500 is worth it if you're low on gold

Also you can decon all the purple gear you get and save the mats and sell those. That's a really easy way to make good gold
