My Quest is bugged. Every time i hit a level threshold, I only get the new quest a few times, then it goes back to the same items, over, and over, and over. I usually drop an XP scroll, hit the first quest, then it immediately changes and screw me over cause i dont have the items. Frustrating, and very buggy.

I have been getting very skewed quest for this:

80% -- Drinkware, Utensils, & Dishes

20% -- Cosmetics, Linens, & Wardrobe Accessories - Games, Dolls, & Statues - Ritual Objects & Oddities - Writings & Maps

if i am planning to powergrind thieves guild i collect a stockpile of as many 'cleaned' items as my character can carry

since you have popped an xp scroll do you have an alt character that can go loot a few houses/buisnesses/ships launder items you are likley to need for covoutous countess & deposit them in your bank.

I of course do that lol, but i have 300 of every other good, but this one lol.

Hmm... as you say the quest you get is level dependent, but I thought at max level the quests would be randomised. @bongtokin420insd16 you have an amazing username. Could you say what level you are and which quests you've been getting.

Ive actually done it on a few toons, but am really noticing it on my Argonian Warden.

Level 1-15 i got all statues and games.

At 15 it switched to Ritual items and oddities.

At 24 it changed to writings, maps, etc. This was at about 4pm. At 8pmish that night, it turned back into odd and rits, and stayed there until I hit 30.

At 30 it changed to cosmetics, etc, and that lasted about 5 and i went to bed around 9pm. The next day, i turned in the one i was holding, and it turned back into Rits and odds again.

No matter how many times i shuffle the quest, once it becomes odds and rits it stays that way, no matter what.

There is not all that much Exp from these quests that warrant popping a scroll. True once you have a backstock of cleaned items from the rewards you can cycle through Countess quests quickly. However there are better uses, even quest related, for scrolls.

Note, just in case, you don't have to accept the non Countess Quests, just exit the board unless the opening line starts with "Esteemed Thieves...."

In the PTS when testing the Countess quests, it was determined that having a huge variety of items requested was too much, even then there are a large swath of things you can get for her, or you can pare it down to essentials.

Also, the quests are somewhat level scaled. Up to about L20, your sent to Zone 1 for turn in and it goes from there. Once you reach CP160, your pretty much going to Zone 5 and dropping off the dishes. You will still get lower level ones from time to time, but rarely.

I will say that Countess Quests are how I level TG on all my characters.

Absolutely everything you have said here is in complete contradiction to whats happening to me. And when u own the house in the city, i can turn 20-30 an hour, and thats well worth the scroll.

And i am aware you can choose which quest to accept

What I posted was based on leveling 6 Characters to L12 in the Thieves Guild using Countess Quests exclusively on 5 of them, and mostly on one of them.

Last one I leveled was 2 months ago.

You can make this easier on your self if you concentrate on hoarding one or two things from each of the 5 groups of items and vendoring the rest from the reward containers.

again, I've hoarded all of them lol. This is a bug thread, not a leveling your TD to 13. Please be more aware of the discussion before trying to add your two cents. I know your trying to help, but your comments did not.

Sorry to jump on your necro, but have they taken that quest of the list? I ask because I never get it, even when I decline the other quests, the countess ones never show up.
