A thought just suddenly occured to me.... (soulshine set)

... is it because i killed the Unicorn in Oblivion that after killing ~1k world bosses in Reapers March that i can't drop for the life of me a Cuirass of Soulshine with impen trait or a Restoration Staff of Soulshine with defending trait.. do these things exist (non in any guild stores) or is it truly bad kharma for killing the Unicorn?

This set does seem hard to get even RNG on the named sharp swords drop seems way against me.

I'd like for a SA build but it's annoying jewelry is only in healthy trait

Oh i understand, its like pulling teeth, Im wanting to try it on my magplar and pair it up with war maiden purely for mahoosive jesus beams and jabs so i will have no jewelry issues as the war maiden jewels are ideal, sustain could be an issue (there is always a price to pay) which is why i want a resto for the backbar. Managed to get 2 swords incidently during my farming (yes just 2 from around a 1000 world boss kills and no end of delve diving and vile manse running.. 1x infused and 1x precise

There's a delve boss that drops sharpened swords of soulshine as a special drop. I'm unsure of actual drop rates but that's your best bet. The boss in weeping wind cave i believe.

Yeah thanks, I'm aware of that one but to be honest its not the sharpened swords I'm after as my DW stuff is already to go, its the impen cuirass and defending destro that are being elusive to the point that I'm beginning to doubt that they even exist or if they do exist then the drop rate for these particular items + traits is heavily weighted against , I have dropped around 20 soulshine resto's now in all flavours (except defending) and its pretty much around the same figure for the cuirass, again the cuirass drops in every flavour except impen.

They drop fairly fast, got mine within two days of casual farming. The rest of the set ... well that's another story entirely. Never seen a staff drop, got a shield though.
