The last one got closed as folks were getting irate about the need to close the exploit.
Park the concept of sorting an exploit at the moment
The game exists for players to play
So we can't, it happens I understand that. But where is the balance as to why it was chosen to take the platform down?

There is an exploit the user base is being effected. - triage
We think there is an exploit - turn it off we'll wing it and see what happens Chuck has had his coffee already

✭Zos gets roasted anytime a bug isn't fixed immediately. They noticed an exploit and decided to fix it immediately, so I'm saying fair play to them.
Trust me i know it sucks. The server went down when I was with the nicest pug group on the last boss of vet imperial city prison (we played musicall instruments while we waited for the servers to go down, it was like titanic I swear!), and right now my partner is out so I am bored at home alone. Nonetheless I am pleased Zos aren't knowingly leaving an exploit in game. Of course if it turns out to be a fix to the Crown store...#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution. -

✭✭✭✭✭Inb4 this exploit was reported to them during PTS and they launched anyway.
Just like the item dupe that crashed the economy when the game launched.
I would feel the slightest bit sorry for ZOS but most of their problems are self-inflicted by the lack of a good QA team.
I've been able to find exploits in this game by just knowing how ZOS programs and that they don't do any sort of regression testing. It's like I can predict their incompetence and know exactly where to look.
Perhaps stop paying streamers who don't understand ESO to play the game, when we have a great streamer community already and hire someone that can actually do QA?Edited by Yolokin_Swagonborn on August 16, 2017 8:11PM -
jssriot✭✭✭✭✭I have learned from someone who has more access to this info about the nature of the exploit, and it's not one that would have been caught on the PTS. And yeah, it's a serious issue and may not have been totally related to the new dlc+update, as I first noticed a secondary issue that may have related to this exploit on Saturday and had sent in a bug report then.CP900+, PC-NA.
When I was harassed by a sexist, racist troll in-game, ZOS did nothing to the player and only told me to add that person to my ignore list. When I called ZOS a mean name that called their ethics into question on the forum, they muted me and threatened to ban me.
