Well, buy 9 further accounts and you can create your own guild-bank (or even up to 5 if you at least level one character per account to Lvl 10 and use that char as guild-leader.

I'm still waiting for some improvements done to housing, i.e. add or update existing chests/closets/boxes so that you can put in your items. I'm fine if these chests have only 200 storage available and are actually expensive to create (or need to be purchased via crowns). This would allow to give houses some further sense actually besides fighting a training dummy or some copies of crafting stations (which are pure convenience actually). All the other stuff are just cosmetics without a real use/sense (except for RPers probably).

I don't think they'll ever do that, subs would suffer because of the double bank space and the crafting bag you get with a sub.

That's why I mentioned that they could be expensive. Non-subscribers have probably a long-time goal to hunt for while subscribers don't care (at least I don't) if non-subscribers now have a way to store more items as they also are able to do the same. Noone is forced to use it but collectors (or those that play plenty of characters) have now an opportunity to actually play more than just 2 or 3 toons (due to all the other toons being packed full). To ZOS this could be a further source of income as some player might inverst real money for those storage stuff.

Yeah we have to pay for 1 copy of the game for each account we make.

I did the same, but different reason - need more stash space.
Would love more char slots for more alts as well.

Well it's not like we have to have multiple separate installs or anything and most of us do digital purchase, but to be able to log in on more than 1 account you have to have paid for another game to link to the appropriate Zeni account - either by direct purchase from Zeni on that account, or by inputting a key code from a third party retailer.

Gamers Gate had (and maybe still has) ESO on sale for 7.50 USD. They're one of the official resellers, and I bought another account to use purely as another bank mule: 8 characters to do nothing except hold the mountains of BoE stuff that I want to hang onto "just in case".

MMOs are designed to be played for years, not weeks or months. Which type of player is the oddest, the one that plays a single character hardcore for a few weeks to race to the level cap and then spends the next months and years moaning about the lack of things to do and the monotony of it all or the one that plays multiple characters (and games) at a steady pace and never in those years runs out of content or variety of things to do? Is it the player who never tires of repeating main quest content or the player who says he could never do that same content again and instead parks his character in one place to "grind" out the levels?

If you have a second account it doesn't necessarily mean you want to play 28 characters, just that you want to play more than 14. I play both my accounts equally, but only have CPs on one of them as yet. For me with any MMO the leveling up is far more enjoyable than any "endgame".

Besides, you can't really call yourself an altoholic if you only have one account !

I wish the OP well with his second account.

You can have up to 14 characters per server, US and EU, that's a total of 28 characters. I used to hoard gear too, I have deconstructed any sets I am not currently using and that freed up a TON of space. There are some regrets, but it was needed or else I too would run out of space holding onto so many "what if's" that never went anywhere; there's just too many sets in the game and the combinations are endless.

A lot of players who want more characters won't add in another server to achieve that, whether for performance reasons or because they won't benefit from Crown Store purchases or the ability to transfer items between characters etc. Some use a second account for mules, but you obviously can't do that with one account across two servers.

I actually don't play a lot. Maybe 2 hours max on weekdays. Every other weekends I can play most of both Saturday and Sunday, but two other weekends out of the month are reserved for my wife. I still play maybe 2~4 hours on those days depending on how lucky I am. As you can imagine my characters are very "thin" on gears, skill points, everything else. I currently have 7 lvl 50 characters and 4 mules. Reserving one more for mule or alt, but probably mule with all the stuff I'm hoarding.

I have created sooooooo many characters and deleted loads too. I'd love another account at least but not too sure how it would work or if its even allowed. Ideally I'd like another 9 so I could have tons of bank space and also get my own guild tabard. LMAO
