Crashing to Character screen????

This also happened yesterday...I had logged in and the game stopped working (windows 10 notification). It did the same today, the first time, then each time I tried to play after relogging, it crashes to the character select screen. Went fine from Glenumbra to Stonefalls. When I try to use the boat to get to Bleakrock, it takes me there but then crashes back to character screen. Any ideas what is going on?
