I should be use to getting fun nerfed by now because I have played ESO for 3 years.

I just learned Necropotence set got nerfed. I bought a Necropotence set about six weeks ago. Two gold rings, one gold necklace, two gold staffs, and a gold light set of gloves. I have a five set of Necropotence on both bars. I bought the six items for a way too much. Now although not worthless very nerfed, but horns are available now, thanks ESO team!

They buffed 2nd, 3rd and 4th bonuses, so if they let the 5th bonus intact it will probably overperform.

I don't think it's really that big of a nerf. The set will still be very good. You'll be fine. You'll still be able to do all the content.

Well to be fair, there was a huge update(dlc) coming and that usually implies a lot of re-balancing. So if you're making a build shortly before that, it probably makes sense to consult pts patch notes(or just wait), yes.

bonus 5 is nerfed slightly

Other sets also got buffed like Julianos which made the nerf to Necropotence a little more impactful but marginally and it's still very strong.

One thing I have learned since playing ESO is not to go out and buy anything that's being talked about as BiS since it changes so often. If I really want it I'll farm it. Even Golding out armour I grudge doing since the benefit isn't great.

Look at the data the top sets are way closer than before so its not worthless at all. And Necro for a full summoner build is still most like BIS.

Change is good things have been stale for too long.
Don't get me wrong as a DW, Overload Sorc from the beginning I've had nerfs in every patch pretty much. So I know the feeling, but in this one you are worried about nothing.
