· [COMPLETE] NA megaservers for maintenance – February 9, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
· [COMPLETE] EU megaservers for maintenance – February 9, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)

Would these two set ideas have any use in PvP?

yes both would be good in pvp.

Also had an idea for a monster set.

    Shroud of the Rogue
    (1pc) Weapon Dmg
(2pc) Max Health. Applies minor protection and minor mending for 2 seconds when you initiate a dodgeroll.

    PvP only

That first set would be dirty for a mag dk with the helping hands passive. You could spam igneous and have crazy stam sustain.

Good stuff. The second set though would be mostly NB based and we already get empower from ambush.

never really use amberplasm, so can't provide much input there, the shroud seems cool though.

    @IxskullzxI

Dirty as in overtuned? or would it be manageable? But that's a good point, the numbers would likely need to be lowered.

As someone who runs amber in PvP, I wholeheartedly support this. Great set and fun to use.

Yeah, the goal was to make something akin to an 'Active' version of amberplasm (in the 5 piece). So to keep it the same as amberplasm (300) would be useless, and given that it requires active resource consumption to restore resources, I felt that it should have a higher number. Given that amberplasm will stack with %regen increases (I think) that needed to be considered as well.

I'm honestly leaning more towards the 500-700 range rather than 700-1200

700 is still OP af. You are talking about 500-700 regen and active resource consumption means nothing. You are always using skills.

Amberplasm has 250 per 2 seconds on both resources. You can activate a skill every 1.x seconds. Amberplasm doesn't work for stam if blocking or sneaking, this one does. Even 500 would be too much while already considering it's only one resource at a time.

350 to 400 per activation would maybe be ok and it still would be the BiS sustain set in PvP.

You are losing a lot to obtain some sustain you get from 1 ability that doesnt scale with you and is a waste of slot.
    So bleh.
Archmage set, shroud of the Lich greatly overpower this set, and it gives good magicka bonuses too. I may be handy in those situations where you have to break free or block, but thats all, if you are cced you cant use abilities and gain stamina anyway.
I can see the first set being used by stamina DK but noone more.

(x could be in the range of 700-1200)

There is basically a set that does both, Bloodthorn's touch.

It is a magicka set, gives 660 stamina and magicka and the effect is bound to direct damage with a 5 second cooldown.
A two second cooldown would net a 264 cost return for both ressources.

If you only got one ressource back (assuming that would justify double the amount returned for one ressource - which it doesnt), you would reach a 528 ressource return every two seconds.

This would have to be lowered due to the easier proc mechanism of Azura's Raiment, as defensive skills would also trigger the set. IMO the return would have to be cut in half, settling the ressource return at 264 of each ressource.

This would make Azura's Rainment an interesting set inbetween Black Rose and Amberplasm without being completely OP, as the set would be craftable and come in every weight.

Edit: Free skills shouldn't trigger the set.

Amberplasm gives 300 stam regen and its enough to take care ur stamina without issues even when u are using stamina abilities like dark conversion and forward momentum. So yeah feel free to explain how will magicka builds ever run out of stamina when that set gives them 700-1200 stamina regen even when blocking.

Stamina builds will have tons of magicka due to them using stamina abilities and all stamina builds use magicka for utility which means a f*ckton of stamina regen as well.

A set like that would be prety much BiS for everyone
