Hulking Draugr Necklace

Does anyone else notice how insanely rare this drop is? I've been farming this with three other people for the past couple of days, and none of us have gotten a drop.

I feel your pain, I've been trying to get Winterborn in divines with all pieces and it's a pain.

I spent 3 weeks 2 to 3 hours a day for spellweave neck. So I feel your pain

I've done over 70 runs for that necklace and the only 2 that have dropped for the group were to randoms that needed it too. I gave up and just used an extra body piece and instead of a crafted set i wanted i used a comparable dropped set with a necklace.

I had the same issue with bone pirates necklace. Hulking I got relatively easily. BPT necklace took me 20 or so runs. The trick is running it with a mag class and truly believing that you're not looking for it. Only then will RNG grant you the necklace when it decides you no longer need it. Masking your thoughts from RNGesus is no easy task however.

What about BP neck.. I farmed that for ages. Never saw one.

Well I think 95% of my drops have been nothing but ice furnace so you may be on to something.

Both Bone Pirate and HD neck were both insanely difficult to get. Farmed both for hours and never got one dropped from the bosses.

Got both through chests with treasure hunter passive.

Yeah which sucks since a lot of times I don't see any chests in dire frost :-\

Tbh I havn't noticed that. I never farmed this necklaces and already had like 5 or more so I deconstructed/gaved away some of them.

Lol I just looked last night and the only peice of hulking I'm missing is hulking necklace.Now can't even login to eso to try and farm it.

Necklace was the last piece I needed when I farmed that set and it took me a week or two before it finally dropped.

Try this.

Enter the dungeon manually as a group, dont use group finder, and clear the mobs and bosses. Then you can stay on the dungeon and farm all the chest spawns. I don't know if all chest spawns will proc while your in there but I have seen chests appear while in group dungeons.

I was surprised myself when I was in a dungeon and saw one appear while waiting for a groupmate to take care of something. Not sure if that was a glitch or not but each dungeon has several spawn locations.

^this. havnt necessarily went about testing/proving, just something ive noticed in my experiences, and acknowledged quite awhile back. theres nothing or near to nothing random about any of it. need to stop calling it rng. also, i agree, about "no easy task". like using reverse psychology on "God"/self. practice practice. layers. do something enough, you dont need to think about it anymore. just rotate stam and mag characters as often as you care to, with no thought of reward ever. and one day, you might find youre pretty lucky. a master of dumb luck.

Interesting. I'll test this out when I have chores to do or something. Clear the dungeon, then hangout for a bit to collect all the chests.

My buddy swears by this method. If your looking for Hulking use a Mag Sorc. If you need Burning Spellwave, run a Stam Character.

RNG is pretty bad.

RNG is pretty bad.

Not a bad idea. PvE is stupid easy with a magsorc anyways so this will just make the farming go quicker.

When every I ran VMA with a magic build I got a good stam drop when I ran stam multiple sharp infernos.

Went through the whole dungeon, cleared every room, beat every boss. Went through the dungeon again while empty an saw no new chest spawns.

thats much worse tough, arena runs are much longer and more annoying than dungeons... i collected winterborn and hunt leader but settled for a mix of infused and divine...can't do that sh* anymore... at least my magicka warden has now over 50k magicka :-)

Regarding hulking draugr - either my rng luck is just REALLY bad or divine pieces just don't drop - i have done sooo many runs now, rarely get hulking draugr and when i do it's never divine but everything else...

I am not sure if the system of gw2 which u basically get currency for dungeon runs and then can simply buy the dungeon gear you want isn't the better way of doing it...sure you're not getting that FINALLY feeling...on the other hand it's a lot less annoying

I just got the drop on necklace last night. Still blah. I'm not bragging. To go back in and farm everything in divine or imp seems . undaughting.

never run out of stamina when wearing hulking draugr and never die wearing plague doctor
