Hakkvild's High Hall and Linchal Grand Manor (kind of) Decorated PTS

I could not achieve what I would have liked in these, and am actually really unhappy with them because there was SO much I wanted to do! So many ideas sprang to mind with these which I was unable to implement, but here are the two larger homes on the pts, decorated with 700 items...

ZOS will probably move this thread from general into housing, but yes more threads the better for this ridiculously low item limit in every house around... Trying to decorate a manor or any big home with 700 slots is equivalent to trying to play in the NBA with a wheelchair. Anything less than tripling the item limit on everything is unacceptable.

I really want to get this manor but with the limit I'm just going to skip over it by I know I won't be able to finish it.

You decorated them amazingly considering the limits! But yes, I agree, the limit is WAY too small.

I have a fully decorated Daggerfall Overlook I'm going to swap for a Linchal Grand Manor when it comes out... and I have to pick up something from my Overolok every time I want to change things up. Not looking forward for more of the same. It should be 1,000 at the LEAST.

Zos is getting kind of greedy with these manors being crowns only, really was hoping the grand manor could've been gold as well.

This is a big one for me too I bought the daggefall manor be it was gold and really upset that none of these other ones are for gold.

Unfortunately until zos decides to do an increase we are stuck with it for now. Hopefully they come to their senses and will change it. Been waiting for that big one in the mountains, but the Imperial manor is gorgeous too. Would make an awesome guild hall. I may be buying one or both. Will see when it is released. Have so much nice deco to put down and my Hundings Palatial Hall just can't hold it all

The Hakkvild's High Hall is stunning. But I think you should be able to mount in it, the item limit should be increased for it due to it's size, and the port in location needs to be changed imo it's just too far away and you need to go through doors to get to the grounds(at least if the port location is the same as where you port to view from crown store, I haven't purchased it yet to double check).

Man that is so sad, I looked at the High hall and its massive outdoor area was what made me want it so much! but there is no point if i wont even be able to decorate it nicely!

Agree with the mounting for this property (as well as Topal Island)! Would love to be able to ride my horse along the beach around Topal and set up races around Hakkvild's! These huge properties and perfect for this, yet they've taken away our ability to do so, even when the places are HUGE and have the space to allow it!

And of course I also agree that the limits need to be raised for the larger(est) spaces by at least a factor of two (preferrably three).

If left at these limits, ZOS is only hurting possible sales of the spaces, as well as all subsequent sales of items to go into them!

ZOS... Free our mounts in the biggest properties and give us more slots to decorate these bohemeths! Pretty Please!

Wow, thats an amazing job especially considering the limit you had handed to you. Nice work, given me alot of ideas for furnishing a house myself and would love to see what you could do without an item limit, make it happen ZoS!

When you start filling every nook and cranny with whatever you can find you'll run out of space quickly.

The item limit could be 10,000 and people would still complain.

Which is probable but absolutely insane. I calculate the "cost" in real money based off what ZOS charges for crowns in the store. 5,500 crowns costs $39.99 in USD. So 16,500 crowns is about $120.00 USD. For pixels. Just think about that for a minute. For a hundred and twenty bucks I can buy some really nice things for my ACTUAL house. I love my pixel dollies here in ESO and most of them have "their own" houses. It's not like I'm opposed to paying real money for digital items. But there's a limit. ZOS has already exceeded mine with the Notable homes, of which I own none nor will I at these prices.

Yeah, that is why I've got 5 small houses and 4 medium houses, fully decorated, and 0 large houses. I can't think of one small enough to decorate properly with the current item limit.
And I really, really wanted Hundings.

You did a very good job with the limitation of these properties, but I got to wonder: how much items were lighting items for Hakkvild's High Hall? 200 / 700? The bigger the property the more lighting starts to eat your item limit. For some reason Zenimax really likes houses to be dark.

Looking forward to the witch hut though. Which is in my opinion, a small house (Autumn's Gate feels bigger!) but with the cost and item limit of a medium house.
These item limits are so arbitrary.

Where is Lichal Grand Manor & will i have to have the Imperial edition to purchase?

You don't need ZoS' permission for what you do in it. What you do in the privacy of your own home is your own business. 'Nuff said.

Bathtub plans are available to buy for master writs, and I am not sure if you will need the Imperial edition or not, sorry!

Haha! It is actually at the bottom of the tower, but I agree. If this were real, that would still be a recipe for disaster

Yes, I saw that, but it makes no sense to me at all! I don't see how performance would be affected by having a few more item slots! Some of the quest areas etc. In the game most definitely go over the limit we are allowed in houses, and I don't suffer from any performance issues in those areas, even with multiple other players there...

So while I enjoyed the tour of inside the manor I would love to see more of the grounds. Despite the fact that you removed all the trees there is a ton of space outside. Also the falkreath hold there was a cellar door I noticed inside the main hall. You didn't go inside and also would love to see a full tour of the grounds including behind the homes.

This particular video is not a tour, it is merely a decorating video, which is why I ventured only where I decorated. Even if I had not, there isn't much more to see. Outside, that is pretty much it! There is a path leading to an exit, and the back of the house is tiny and insignificant. I am sure there are many tour videos on YouTube, if you wish to see those however, and it will be on live very soon too, to preview. Which cellar door are you referring to?
