Spawn of Mephala
(1 items) Adds 1064 Max Health
(2 items) When you deal damage with a fully-charged Heavy Attack, you create a web for 10 seconds that deals 1044 Poison Damage every 1 second and reduces the Movement Speed of enemies within by 50%. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.

While some monster sets were updated in this round of PTS, I noticed that Spawn of Mephala doesn't appear in the notes. Compared to other options, it's a weak, situational set that needs to be improved. It looks like it caters to tank-like builds, so why not experiment with making it similar to Bahara's Curse and Leeching Plate, where the damage returns healing to the caster? Maybe sap tanks could be a little bit more fun with a change like this, especially since sapping sets cannot crit anymore.

I like that idea, Grump! It falls into the trifecta of "great tanking". It increases tank survivability (through heals), CCs (for group benefit), and adds a little bit of DPS (without making the tank falter too close to a "DD")

My wife and I were discussing Swarm Mother yesterday, too. While it's nice to have a "chains" set for tanks... Swarm Mother does absolutely nothing else. No stun. No DoT. No heal.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

Ehm spawn of mephala was changed to have the 1-piece maximum stamina and got a 5% damage buff to it, and it also was in the 3.1.0 patch notes... Just saying.

Mephala has a snare so it could be useful in pvp but the dmg just isnt bursty enough to compete with Selene for example.

The change to stam is only nice for pve because most players in pvp will already spec some into health to avoid getting one-shot.

If the CD was shorter it might be quite good for pvp. A shorter CD could also mean more burst dmg if the total dmg stays the same.

Right now the changes are a bit pointless if you aks me.
