Just got morrowind and am wanting to put time into making a warden. Are they fun to play? Easy to learn? Pve? Pvp? Just looking to get some feedback

Has nice burst for PVP situations but sustained magicka dps is pretty bad imho. Tanking on it in PVE is pretty fantastic, there are so many self-heal and sustain options that you really do not need a healer for anything except maybe trials as off-tank. I haven't run into a vet pledge yet where I needed a healer to keep me standing.

    Good PvP DPS

    Good healer

    Decent tank

REALLY bad PvE DPS (magicka spec only)

They don't have much of a role in endgame PvE. Some teams might want to bring one warden and one templar healer instead of two templars. A stamina warden can also probably slot into a DPS role. But that's about it.

Yep. Great class for beginners with clearly defined tank/heal/dps skill trees. Solo friendly, especially with the bear ultimate helping you out. Magicka-based Wardens are on the low end when comparing damage output of classes, so they are more suited to support roles in group content. In PvP, Stamina-based Wardens have many of the same tools other Stam playes use (since many of the important Stam skills are tied to weapon skill lines rather than class skill lines), so they are very formidable in PvP, bringing a few unique and powerful class skills into the mix.

Your first goal should be to unlock the first of each of your class skills and the first skills for the primary weapons you want to use. Then focus mainly on unlocking Animal Companions to get the Bear ulti asap. At that point you can spread your points around on passives, etc. You should be able to get your primary skills you'll use for most of the leveling experience by around level 10-15.
