Mag sorc pvp build

Anyone know of a good mag sorc build for pvp? I don't wana use pets, so no pet builds.

Hard to say with a patch on the horizon. Oblivion could mean big changes. But then again, it might not.

I just stumbled upon a full set of wryd tree and war maiden.

Front bar x5 war maiden. ring, ring, neck, chest, inferno staff.
Back bar x5 wryd tree. Boots, pants, belt, gloves, resto staff.
x2 infernal guardian. Shoulder(light), helm(heavy)

Mix between Impen and divines.

Its 5 heavy 2 light so its more of an experiment because i had the sets.

War maiden only boosts frags and curse but those are my sorcs main burst. With Infernal guardian and wryd tree it gives my sheilds 3 uses. Purge, damage and well a sheild. Seems nice on paper but i havent done alot of testing.

Contrary to many cry babies who can't handle PvP.....Sorcs have a bunch of different sets that all fair well in PvP. Julians, Kags, Spinners, Rattlecage, Necro, Magnus, Martial Knowledge, BSW, Amberplasm, Lich are all reasonable and good sets to have for a sorc. As for monster sets....Kena, Infernal, grothdarr, engine guardian are all good as well.

Bar set ups can go a number of ways......Frags, Curse, WRath should all be on DPS bar. force pulse/crushing shock is good. Sometimes I like destructive reach for the knock back or stun. Destro ulti and meteor are good ultis for sure. some combination of streak,mines, defnesive rune, healing ward, hardened ward, harness magicka, power surge, boundless storm can be slotted on the back bar or front bar. People say sorcs lack diversity but they are very wrong.

Don't forget negates one of the key sorc ultimates for PvP.

I've been using this build for both BGs and CP campaigns.
5 Lich, 2 Infernal Guardian (1 light 1 heavy), 5 Julianos. You'd use a Lich resto staff and a Julianos fire staff. Skill for destro are: Inner Light or Bound Aegis, Force Pulse, Crystal Frags or Flame Reach, Hardened Ward, Endless Fury, and Shooting Star for CP campaigns, or Soul Strike/Shatter Soul for BGs. For resto staff, Inner Light or Bound Aegis, Rapid Regen, Healing Ward, Boundless Storm, Streak, and Supression Field for CP campaigns and Light's Champion for BGs. I know having the double slotted skill takes away, but it helps with Hardened Ward to absorb more damage. I play with Mundus stones for CP pvp, but for anything non-CP, I find that the Mage stone helps with the extra magicka.
