Why in the world are resist glyphs jewlery glyphs and not armor glyphs?

This has been bothering me for awhile now, there are several resist glyphs I would like to play around with, but there is no way I am giving up a jewelry glyph spot for resist. I would be more than happy to give up a slot on my armor to play with these...and it would only make sense, armor is all about resistances. Why ZoS? Why did you do this to us?

Because the concept behind armor enchantments is to only increase resources, I would guess.

You can swap out Glyphs, it's not like your committed to anything you enchant. Try the glyph, if it does not work for you, put back what you had before, or something different.

As for Armor, the would have to nerf the value to the point of you needing to use 2 to 3 armor slots because you could stack 7 of them. At current values you could pretty much eliminate any fire damage in the game with the way things are now.

And, finally, the game has to have some choices in it.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

I'm not talking physical/spell resistance, I am talking elemental resistance.

From my view, that can only be a good thing. If I want to lose thousands of max resources in order to be able to better survive the rink of frozen blood in vMA, it seems like a fair tradeoff. Its still prohibitively expensive to change enchants on the fly, so what you end up with is...MAYBE a DPS who is a vamp will swap to fire resist enchants to run vCoA II or something, but doing so will significantly affect their damage output. Then there is also the fact that there would never be a reason to keep those enchants on 100% of the time. Just to run vCoAII? Not likely, all this would do is give more build options. Maybe you keep running into nightblades in PvP who spam poison injection and snipe...throw on some poison resist glyphs and gimp their build against you. Its all a tradeoff, stacking elemental resists isnt any different from stacking resources. As for choices...this would EXPAND the choices...there are no choices for armor glyphs with just 4 possibilities.

You could not "eliminate fire damage" because mitigation cap and multiplative returns.
