Challenge: Can anyone name a stam/mag class ability that's completely restricted? (Help Wrobel!)

So, mDK's constantly complain that they're completely restricted from a magicka-based execute. Can you name any other stam/magicka class ability that is completely restricted by gameplay abilities, weapons, or armor set design?

So, here's what we got so far for magicka/stamina characters that have no way of obtaining a common ability that uses their resource pool through any means (weapons, class abilities, guild abilities, or armor sets):

-MagDKs have no means to a magicka-based execute.
-MagWardens have no functional magicka-based gap closer to enemies.
-MagPlars have no means to a magicka-based root ability.
-StamWarden, StamSorc, and StamDK don't have a ranged stun (with the exception of the specific criteria for Poison Injection)

Regarding gap closer, why do magplars have a gap closer with a stun, when NBs were forbidden to have one (tele strike stuns but no on PvP)

But at least they have the ability to gain Major Sorcery through an ability. mDKs have no means to a magicka based execute.

Almost correct. As above... they do spam Mage's Wrath. However, they do have the means to a spammable magicka based attack through destro staff abilities. mDKs still don't have any means to a magicka execute by any weapon or ability.

However Magblades do have access to "purge" (the Alliance Skill)- mDKs don't have the ability go gain a magicka based execute.

This is actually a good example. I was going to say "Snipe"- but I believe it's the NB passive that stuns an enemy from stealth. So, perhaps Warden, Sorc, and DK are missing out.

Edited: I have to renege on this one a little... so, there is access to a stamina based range stun via Venom Arrow (which all classes have access to) but, it only works on casters. So, I'll still give it to you!

I don't think most people are understanding the point of your thread. I think what he is trying to say is that mDKs don't have access to a magicka execute... at all... Most of the stuff people are listing are things they don't have access to from class skill lines, but can get them from other skill lines. mDKs might be alone in the fact that they are completely barred from using an execute that scales from their damage pool.

This is partially true. StamWardens have an offensive gap closer through 2H and SnB. MagWardens do not. Stam Wardens have executes through weapon abilities... MagWardens do not. The Warden class does have an execute through their ultimate (but I agree... it's unreliable)

While that's true- they do have a source of Major Brutality through 2H, DW, and an armor set. mDKs have NO MEANS of a magicka execute through any class, weapon, or guild skill.

They have access of damage shields through Resto staff, Light Armor abilities, any number of armor sets, and Sap Essence. Stamplars do have a class based gap closer... but it's magicka based, yes. However, they do have access to stamina based gap closers via 2H, SnB, and Silver Leash. Stamplars do have access to Brutality through 2H, DW, and an armor set.

mDKs have NO ACCESS whatsoever to a magicka based execute.

It seems that almost every stam class or mag class has access to roughly similar abilities... all except one.

If you mean "siphoning ability" as in doing damage and receiving heals from it- you have access to that concept via DW (Bloodcraze, Bloodthirst, Lascerate), Bow (Draining Shot), a few armor sets, and poisons.

Cripple is the complete package though. Snare,Speed Boost, Damage, heals and offers a lot with the siphoning passives. None of those abilties you mentioned can do all this in 1 sweet package.

Ha! Unfortunately, no. Proc sets don't do XX% more damage to enemies under ##% health. Proc sets are just "burst damage" that annoys the hell out of everyone.

Right. But you could argue that all classes (stam and mag based) don't have access to abilities that have multiple functions. We're trying to keep it a little more simple than that. I'm talking about basic abilities that EVERYONE has access to. Everyone has access to a snare, or a speed boost, or damage, or heals.

Yeah but that's not a spammable ,I can use those same spammables on other stam builds like Nbs or Templars which also class class spammables

Weapon Spammables =/= Stam based class spammables

Also silver bolts is NOT a spammble.
