Do you think we will have an expansion about Dwemers ?

The fate of the Dwemers is purposely kept secret by ZOS.

Do you think they plan to create an expansion/DLC/Chapter or w/e about them ?

it isnt ZoS keeping it secret, its THE running mystery of the Elder Scrolls universe. If it gets tackled at all, it will be with a proper, chronological sequel to the SP elder scrolls entries, not in ESO.

    Let's hope so

I doubt it because of timeline issues, since ESO is a prequel to their other games. The fate of the Dwemer is still a mystery in the timelines of Oblivion and Skyrim, which take place hundreds of years after ESO.

    Halls of Fabiraction....

    also nope.

It being a mystery is part of the fun of elder scrolls and only the dwemer know and they dissappeared.

Now there is one dwemer left with the Telvanni but he was in Oblivion or being teleported or something when the dwemer disappeared so he doesn't know either only how to work with dwemer technology and langauge.

I get the feeling that the dwemer were rather individilistic and secretive amoungst themselves, not to meantion politics. I don't think they told each other about thier experiements.

If Drumacs (or was that the king, Kragenac? who was the dwemer artificer again?) research notes still exist, Sotha Sil has them. So I guess maybe there is a chance there could be a Dwemer/Sotha Sil themed expansion but I still don't think the mystery will be revealed.

I am not even sure if Bethesda lore masters have decided on a cannon answer to be honest and I am sure they would leave it for a single player game if they did.

I mean..... clockwork city? Isnt it a dwemer city? And its coming out soon soooooo

Also the fate of the dwemer isnt really a secret its just difficult for mortals to understand. Basically they collectivly discovered they do not really exist as individuals but as characters of their reality and instead of going god mode like vivec they disappeared from existence. All of time wiped of them. But not the things they made

No, it's not. There's reverse engineered Dwemer technology in its design, but the city itself isn't theirs.

That's a creation made by Sotha Sil (no doubt based heavily on his research after they disappeared.

That is one theory upon many. What really happened to them is never explained and will (in my opinion) never be done. Together with Akaviri this is one of the founding mysteries of the Elder Scrolls series.

I hope not. I mean, we'll have new things in Dwemer setting (Clockwork City, Halls of Fabrication, etc.), but hopefully they'll save the actual Dwemer mystery for Bethesda to pour into an amazing game. ZOS has done a great job on ESO in my opinion, but they've had to make some concessions (i.e. lore-wise) to make it suitable in a multiplayer setting. Again, totally understandable, but ideally I wouldn't want to see those concessions being made on the Dwemer, so keeping my fingers crossed for seeing them in TES: VI or later, if ever.

Sorry, this isn't, correct. The fate of the Dwemer is a huge mystery for the people in the setting. It's not hidden from fans of the series, however. The plotline for TES3: Morrowind is heavily tied into their disappearance. During the course of the game, the player learns exactly what happened to them, (even if it leaves a few metaphysical elements, and their ultimate destination unknown).

This isn't a mark against you, TES3 is set roughly 800 years after the events of ESO. None of our characters know what happened to the dwarves. But, players, particularly lore masters, do, and have a fair amount of knowledge on the subject.

There's some open questions like, "did they actually go someplace or did Scotty accidentally obliterate them, when they tried to beam up?" But saying this is a massive mystery to the playerbase isn't entirely accurate.

If this does get revisited down the line, it seems far more likely it will be in one of the single player games, rather than in ESO.

    @Narvuntien

    A cannon answer. Brave!
I imagined the loremasters mounting a huge artillery piece in their headquarters and shooting it at everyone who dares approach and ask:

    "What about the dwe..."

They are not keeping it a secret.

No one actually knows what really happened to them, according to lore. They supposedly disappeared out of thin air after trying to use Lorkhan's Heart (correct me if I'm worng) during the battle at the Red Mountain with the Chimer (former Dark Elves).

Would be cool to see the Dwemer again though, they have such an impact on the franchise and lore, fans would just love to get some form of playable content with them involved.

But then again, it's the mystery of their demise (or ascension?) that makes them so interesting and sought-after.

If they would release an expansion where you can actually play as a Dwemer I would do so in a heartbeat, but that's just me :)
