To my regret, it appears that Morrowind was bad for the game's community.

Trial guilds seem to disappearing.
Battlegrounds are a disaster due to queuing issues, terrible game balance, the lack of a CP mode, and the inability to choose game type.
Then it seems that with each update everyone needs to change their gear which means it's time to farm for gear again.
And with this game's terrible RNG, it seems that's what people spend the majority of their time doing; farming.
It really isn't enjoyable spending days of your life trying to get a particular piece of gear with a specific trait.
And the people that have left the game say things along the lines of "it feels nice to actually play a game again and have fun"

✭You forgot one point. Loyal subscribers, anticipating that ZOS would honor the sub deal, you know you get 100% of the downloadable content as long as you pay your sub. That pissed people off when they broke the deal. I know 4 people who canceled out of the gate and I was able to convince another 3 people in my guild to do so as well. -

✭✭✭✭✭Players warned of too much change too fast but a lot of players got over the first hurdle . Re gearing is an easy pain to allieviate by reverting BOP items . Just because I'm fine getting gear and re learning mechanics doesn't mean that I don't know what you are saying has truth . It happens in every MMO as they progress . People that don't slot bis are not as effected and will carry on but some of the population will go on hiatus or longer . -

With proc sets being so ridiculous this patch I dont even attempt to solo pvp anymore as a templar. As I channel my main dps skills I end up being popped by selenes/viper/incap NB running around waiting to gank me in the middle of a fight. Hopefully next patch will be more fun. I'm in the same boat as you. Me personally, I'm fine with the changes for the most part (I obviously have my gripes), but I'm not everyone; and it's disheartening seeing so many walk away from this game. -

Except they didn't say that. They said we get access to downloadable content available in the crown store. Most just assumed all content would be available in the crown store. Crap move on the part of ZOS not being more clear but still we were not promised 100% of the downloadable content. -

I've had some friends leave as well . It's something ZoS is aware of because they filled out the questionnaire and recieved responses back . I think with this next patch coming they have a chance to do it better this time but we will have to wait and see . I'm staying of course because I'm excited so,e things we asked for are happening and I want to see more of that . -

✭Canceled my subscription because ZOS dropped the ball on BGs but I keep playing because I found a way to enjoy pvp without the excessive gear grind. Only bad part is the most enjoyable pvp only happens between the hours of 4am to 8am. -
Waiting till November, hopefully some positive changes, improvements are made and company wide sacking. Start from the top though, whoever's calling the shots now seems to be a little too comfortable in their position. Until then, there's plenty of other places/mmo's to spend my time/money. -

Turn it however you want, in the end of the day I'm sure most of Morrowind purchasers (for 40 bucks) feel slightly scammed. I would feel so.
I gor no problem with farming new content. But farming vMA really can make a man feel miserable. Or some long dungeon like RoM. I always thought CS is stupid with players playing 3 maps over and over again, but I will tell you honestly it's more fun than farming for items you were throwing into garbage before. -

✭✭✭✭✭I cancelled my sub months ago, but did buy MW for the Warden and BG, both of which are disappointing to me. It turns out I liked the Vvardenfell zone much more than I expected, but doesn't redeem the game for me.

Yeah, it wasn't good. A lot of people I played with left and haven't returned, and my main guild is a ghost town compared to before.
I'm still pretty pissed about some of the changes if I think about it for more than ten seconds, so I don't. But it killed PvE for me, and PvP is not as fun without my friends. Not happy with the new normal.
Morrowind is beautiful. Glad I got to see it. But.

The fun of other MMO's was regearing, was when the new expansion came out gearing up so you can do the first tier of raiding, then the next tier, then the next tier, then new expansion! Back to the collecting better pants grind stone.

✭I have subbed since PS4 launch.
I pre-ordered Morrowind although I actually gave serious consideration to canceling the pre-order and my sub in part because of gameplay changes.
I haven't completed one Morrwind quest, done one battle ground, or actually leveled a Warden past level 9.
I have played less and less as this patch moved on. This is by far and away my least enjoyable experience with ESO and while there are several aspects of the new PTS notes I like I'll continue to play until the fun is gone and the fun is definitely leaving more then it is growing.

Either one, what they said has truth to it but the positives of the game are enough to overlook the negatives, hence still here.

✭I have to admit most of my guilds are quiet group finder is broken and still takes a long time to join , heavy attack online everything players never wanted we got , and things we screamed on top of our lungs since beginning of the game were never even considered.
some changes in new patch looks like they are trying to save it but still .... you need to do allot more to get people come back..
1) remove the damn keys and change it to tokens , 40 tokens you get the shoulder you want , 40 tokens you get to buy one set item you want from the dropped dungeon vendor ( you still have chance to find the sets as it is )
2) VMSA tokens .. dont care how many you make each item 50 or a 100 and each VMSA gives you 2 or 5 tokens and you can even make normal msa drop 1 token ? dont care stop RNG just gives us some hope
3) jewelry crafting opens up allot more builds and makes it more fun
4) if you have 9 crafter research and motif you can change the look of the items you have ... im ashamed walking in necro .. yes i use costume but what was the point of getting all of those amazing motifs if i can't use it? this would make crafter so much in demand.. maybe if person gives you item to change it you can't put it on , you can't sell it, you can't decon and after 20 min it will be send back to the person who owns it?
5) Punishment .. cheaters , bots are banned that is it, cheaters get 1st warning and lose what they gained from cheating and 1 week ban , they get caught again life ban , and not just the ESO account but its gamer tag , so unless they get new account and new eso account they can't play , bots banned right away.
6) New weapons , spear, crossbow so many choices
7) warden .... ...when people made so many requested and pleaded for necromancer class , or monk class where 90% ability are stamina based and only few morphs are magica if not new class what about ability to join them as world class. ( some people just want to be evil @ParaNostram knows what i am talking about
)
8) Try to do something regarding the lag
9) Try to make 2 handed count as 2 trait ..
10) i know this is just a idea , all Dark Anchors are shown on the map,if the Dark Anchors are not destroyed it stays active for 7 days and no longer spawns minions once when this happens ( the Dark Anchors on your map turns black ) , if all Dark Anchors get activated the sky all over turns black and all of the adds get stronger by 40% during this event,OR Daedric Titans come down in the city ! that would be fun ...there you are just crafting something and out of nowhere Daedric Titan drops down from the sky with 6 mill health
or instead of that Molag Bal shadows spawn next to couple of Dark Anchors and it has 30 mill health , this will make people rush and come together to put him down. Something like that something exciting i suppose btw what has Molag Bal been up to anyway ?

You can say that again, I was in cyro just a couple of hours ago and I swear the army sieging us was 50% proc/bomblades and 50% mag sorcs. I had no death recaps that didn't contain vipers/lotus fan or eots/proxy det/frags. It's just as many players as they can scrounge up all roling the cheesiest builds.
And there is still full zones so it can't be all that bad.
