Concerned about nasty tanks in U15

To begin with, I do like most of what is being proposed for the upcoming update.

I do wonder though, if those permablock heal/recovery-intense builds will become even more omnipresent in pvp. There is one more healing monster set upcoming, and a 5-piece version of Pirate Skeleton (with speed debuff, the Doom Turtle? :) ).

I do see more people running oblivion with infused now to carry more damage through any mitigation, but still. Your thoughts?

    Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

    Tanks will function much as they do now as tanks. They wont be killing much and for the particularly potent ones youre going to have to dot them or negate them but it shouldnt be much different than it is now.

    Its the 3 NB that are running with them that will be doing less damage on the burst, I mean you'll still die of course but you'll have 2-3 more seconds to squint and see the DK's toon wink at you before you perish.

    oblivion with infused+Torug's Pact will be very strong in pvp, exacly my thoughts.

    Infused torugs with obilivion enchant, shield breaker, selenes stamNB made for the sole purpose of ruining sorcs days.

    If you're worried about stronger tanks consider this:

    This is an indirect nerf on the damage output of medium and heavy armor

    With light armor giving approximately 4.8k penetration, and weapons only giving 2.xish as a heavy or medium armor user my amount of penetration vs a light armor was roughly 50% but is now cut down to 30% - when a light armor wearer and I use the same weapon trait of Penetration.

    Seems to me to be a slight buff to light armor damage.

    if this is true then consider that going out in Cyrodil as a non-sorc in light armor is pretty much a suicide unless you are in a good group

    also, stamina users more then anyone, have been able to benefit from using heavy armor and still do a metric ton of damage

    so we will see how this plays out then
